No I don't think he's crap, I'm not sure that NA knows what he's doing with him though. Does he feel he has to give him a bit of a run out every now and again.I'd have thought that last night's stalemate at 75 minutes called for something a bit different,a real striker.
Trouble with Guly is that he usually comes on to replace Barnard, an attacking midfielder for an out and out striker.Barnard doesn't last the distance at the moment so we replace him with a different kind of player, instead of a like for like with a fresh pair of legs. Now Connolly would seem to fit that description but he's errr not even on the team sheet again now. True LB said there was an issue Connolly but I guess we all presumed that had gone away with his heroics in the Cup game.
Of course we can criticise Brighton all we like for their tactics, but at the end of the day they got what they wanted and we didn't.
They'll go up and perhaps we'll only go with them if we win the play-offs,that is unexcusable. We need to go to Huddersfield,Carlisle and Charlton and play in exactly the same way, except that we probably won't miss a penalty if we get one.
Doubt if we'll win the league this season to be honest, not unless we can find someone to score goals against sides who defend reasonably well. Maybe second though.
WTF, they're a good side, they've won 10 out of 17 and have 35 points.Obviously that's not because they're crap is it.
Bournemouth are at the top because of their strikes,Brighton are there on merit. We aren't there because we can't score.Brighton know that Poyet is way above this league level in management skills.
never been sent off for 2 yellow cards yet, straight reds both times.
Midfield players get bookings, so do defenders, Deano has already been suspended for 5, Fonte is on 4, it's football.
Brighton have already had 2 players suspended for 5 cards.
