I reckon it's on......JPT and the playoffs IMO, we are the best team in this league. we have the best players, the best facilites, the best manager and the most money... so much for "just surviving" and anyone who wanted more being "unrealistic"..
-
strange....I still laugh at the loonys comments of "just surviving" will be an achievement this season.. we are the best team in this league...we have the best squad, the best facilities and the most money... wembley here we come..(twice)
-
why not..? ince (who some are saying we were lucky not to have him) also came in late summer, and would STILL be 5 points ahead of us if we did not have the -10.....and they simply can not compete with us in the transfer market..no one in league 1 can.... im glad we have turned a corner but a few weeks back we were shipping goals and/or struggling to break teams down

Bitter defeated boss claims we are very long ball!

why..they are (or were) 3rd in the table...without the "mega bucks" we have.... im sure we will lose again and they will win...we will do well to finish above MK Dons... -
funny song...makes me chuckle when it is sung...lol
-
agreed....didnt we win a penalty with saga diving this season...where was saint clark with his 'fury' then..?
-
we had a football club last season It seems you are a bit of a glory hunter as NOW we are winning every week, THAT for you means we have a 'football club' we have money to burn this season and are the 'chelsea' of league 1...hence we we buy the best players and why we are now winning

i noticed this for the bristol rovers game...I was 'assured' by the resident experts that he was drifiting aimlessly offside as he was used to playing in serie A and the the ball through were not quick enough.. when that was basically a load of crap and he was actually aimlessly offside.. he is a funny player and provides good unpredictability....
-
dont get me wrong....I like pards but signing players of CCC quality in league 1 is hardly 'genius'
-
So. So much for just surviving this season we are the best team in this league. And now we are acting like it. We would be playoffs if it was not for mini 10

right.... if I ran this place (sorry if it has been suggested) I would do a couple of things.... a) set up a donation thing for flowers at the funeral from SWF.. b) set up another donation thing to get ron over for a game and let him be guest of honour at the club...maybe we donate and ask the club to make the rest up.. Ron is before my time but reading this he is obviously a proper saints legend...up there with bates, mcmenemy, channon and MLT...for saints, he is in very illustrious company and for that he deserves to be treated like a king for a day at sms...maybe get clips of his past on the screens at half time rather than watching two fat blokes trying to kick an over sized beachball into an open goal.. IMO, this has to happen, we talk about how much of a 'family club' we are...well lets show it and between saints fans AND the club...lets pay our respects and get him over here (should he want to of course)

i dont recognise this currency im afraid....

doesnt this happen in other countries..? if you get depressed that the clocks shift an hour then I suggest that you get a life

I would say so listening to talksport and 5live...both are pretty my saying the same things..the BBC ****ed it up a bit...turned into a bit of a griffin witch hunt and not touch on enough as to why they got as popular as they did.. there was one question and straw rambled on for a few mins and did not give an answer... ALL the main party representitives should have had a look at themselves on the panel and each blame themselves for griffin being sat there..instead they just give 'sound bite' answers... on 5live they were worried that griffin will get some sympathy, with the protesters outside acting far worse than the EDL and the way half or most of the programme was about him... we all know his views, we do not need him to 'show himself up'.. on reflection, the BBC put out a pretty poor show
-
lets be honest...we should be winning ALL our home games with the team/set up we have.. a draw would not be the end of the world but a loss we be bad.. 3-1 saints

this is your last post of the day too...

you need to be a full user to use PMs these days.. IE, pay £5 for the year
-
in the Alex.. I go in there before the games I go to... oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh
-
well...why did we wait so long if that was the case.. i mean, we were constantly bombing the place...policing the 'no fly zones' and then bombing the place some more...?
-
we went to war with iraq (the first time) as they invaded another country (who im sure we had deals with) and were lobbing missiles into isreal and utterly threatend to bring the whole region into war...if isreal responded in any way militarily then it would have been a big problem as syria and the like would have come into play.. we stopped at a certain point as we were not there to remove a regime or find the fabled WMD... infact, do you really believe the two wars were fought on the same ideals..?....surely not..?
-
err, no...the first gulf war was very different and had the backing of multi major nationalities...
-
agree with that...I dont like our democratic system... the idea that you vote for you local MP and the person with the most MPs (by a set majority) wins the election.. we all know that in a general election you are voting for the leader of said part..even if you very much dislike your local MP... I would rather that we vote for the party and the winner of the most votes regardless wins...
-
quite like the american way....2 terms, then off you go..
-
none of them are perfect....IMO being elected for a 3rd term is one too many... when labour are ousted you have to look at their legacy and compare thatr to the previous tory one.. both have over seen mass unemployment at some point both have over seen a period of boom both have royally ****ed off parts of society looking at it broadly, the things that set them apart are.. tory - dealing with the miner strikes and poll tax labour - tearing up the middle east and having the blood of hundereds of thousands of iraqi's on their hands after lying to the country.. hmmmmmm
-
have you been though turnstile A..?
