indeed....if we can keep this sqaud together till the end of the season at least...IMO we dont need to add to it...of course it would be nice but not essential as it stands

lets be honest.. most of the teams...well, all of the teams immediately above us are very poor..... I would like to think that before the xmas day we could be sat nicely in midtable..16th-10th...with the playoffs no more than 9 points away.. even without any more additions and keeping who we have right now, we still have a better squad than at least 20 other teams in this league..

wotton has been pretty good for us recently..... also, pards is putting real experience in the team to complement a couple of young'uns.. wotton knows what it is to win, he captained a team to win this very division...he captained a team to two league championships in 3 years... I know his best days are behind him but he does have something to offer this season...his experience in and around the team will be and is vital... and I guess pardew agrees..

football teams have always changed down the years.. arsenal were south london once and called something completely differennt saints were called st marys or something like that before.. im sure if you look through the history books that you will find that teams have evolved/relocated many times over the years....

agree... this is where morgan in the middle is vital....he has real skill and technique for someone so young...sure he makes mistakes but he is still a teenager.. his passing vision (the way he spreads the play) is vital IMO... he and hammond complement each other well...

seriously..? we have a great strength in depth now.. easily IMO the best squad in league 1....to bring a player like connelly off the bench in this league is fantastic.. Just imagine if we went up this season...I am starting to think it is very possible....my sort of tipping point was being within 9 points of the playoffs at Xmas with a look to bring in an addition or two.. we could be within 9 points sooner.. this is fantastic.... how great would it be to have the ground singing the old.. E I E I E I O...up the football league we go.... good times
