A mate from work emailed me and said he was in the pompey end at the weekend.. they celebrated like they won..because we were by far the better team...he admits it..they got very lucky that day. he said you could tell too many saints fans expected to turn up for the win....to which he said to me, did you really think pompey would just turn up and roll over..? yet, alpine immediately said we played crap on saturday (when we very much did not) and the team are bottle-jobs....(which we are not) I just don't understand why the rash statements....I remember on here when we were 2-1 to milllwall and that was it.....season over right there, right then..

Great composure today amazing fans...no real team talk required, hearing and seeing all the fans when they were driving to the ground on the bus was all that was needed players amazed and very thankful with fans had to quickly put the pompey game to bed. move on and did what we had to do today Fonte should have scored focus on the next game amazing following by fans, players desperate to win it for them it was a tactic to get lambert against clyne when butterfield had the ball.....it paid off today able to make a couple of changes for the game, credit to squad. morgan very sore. has a nasty gash on his leg all players are desperate to be involved in the final games players sat and watched a video made of the season so far, including pre season and it brought a smile to all their faces controlled the game today and pleasing performance
