We seemed to mix it up a bit more against United as we were prepared to hit Long early. But perhaps the biggest difference is the opposition formation - Stoke played 3 CBs/a back five as their wingbacks rarely went forward. It made it very easy for them to snuff out the often isolated front man. Only later in the game did we push more bodies forward to engage them. Should have happened earlier as we had control in the middle of the park.

So we're basically better than the three newly promoted sides. Careful not to set expectations too high.

But it’s not referring to the left - it’s referring to white supremacists and homegrown Islamacist extremism. You never did respond to the follow-up Beinart article, though you were originally very keen to cite him. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/08/what-trump-gets-wrong-about-antifa/537048/

No for reasons I've stated before. It also partly reflects the scale of the problems he'd inherit. At the same time, i don't buy the idea that he wants to turn the UK into Venezuela. That's utterly ridiculous.

Nonsense. The tories have been as guilty as labour in running up the debt and deficit. Their record for economic management is vastly overrated.

But Yahya Misselbrook told us that the Trump administration was a great champion of free trade and that the special relationship was really special. Never mind that the US has consistently p!ssed on UK trade interests when it's suited them. Ironic today that it's accusing Bombardier of dumping yet it had no qualms about dumping on the trailblazing British semiconductor industry in the 1960s and 1970s, permanently stunting its development. And that's just one example. And poor old DUP that this has happened in their backgarden - must be a sign from God. Perhaps they can say a prayer for that magic money tree to appear again.

The US administration are bottle jobs. It would have been easy to go after China and it's myriad trade practices - instead it picks on an ally and next door neighbour. Moral of the story for the jihadis: don't cross large trading blocs which have huge scope for retaliation, unlike smaller countries which are fair game. Poor little UK, all sad and alone.

You don’t agree with my statement above?

They can be condemned while acknowledging that right-wing extremism is a far bigger problem than left-wing extremism.

Where has antifa been officially recognised as domestic terrorists - the indie link only says that some of their activities have been described as "domestic terrorist violence"? The two are not the same.

Has Hoedt outplayed Yoshida or is he the better option at this moment in time? He still looks pretty raw to me as you'd expect from someone new to the league.

After you’ve finished reading Jamie’s 15 minute meals, maybe you want to check out Abu Mus'ab As-Suri’s Global Islamic Resistance Call, which is seen as the manifesto for European-based terrorism. It’s explicit aim is to forment civil war in Europe by turning mainstream society against Muslims, then playing the victimisation card to attract new followers.
