  1. That's the spirit. I admire you and your bum chum, ALWAYS_SFC for finding a silver lining in things.

3.2/10. Glasgow -been rich pickings for you this weekend but now you're getting a bit greedy and sloppy pal. You know that our 'style', as implemented across the development sides, is nothing more than a broad commitment to playing on the deck or some other loose philosophy.
  3. Remember 2 of those were hardly convincing - arsenal (in the league cup 2014/2015 ) and chelsea (away in the league 2014/15) come to mind.

    Puel in

I've voted 'Puel in' previous polls and am still inclined to wait and see; but if this is the best defence you can offer, it's weak and thoroughly unconvincing. A few questions: -Explain why the benchmark of success has switched it from appearing in a cup final to simply staying up? After all, according to you, we could have quite easily gone for a manager who took us down. -Why is the only alternative to drab football that we played under Poortvliet? -What do you mean 'in your face'? You imply as if the only difference between this season and previous seasons is cosmetic: we are on course to finish points behind where we finished in the past seasons seasons with a substantially weaker grip on a top 10 position should we indeed finish there. -Why were Moyes and Howe the only candidates for the job. Again in a post chockablock with ludicrous strawmen, this is another unexplained beauty. If you want to pitch your argument in terms of we're little old Southampton and are lucky to have a club, so should cherish the rarefied air we breathe in the PL, especially in a season we made a cup final, cut to the chase and do so. Just spare me the longwinded piffle and pony, pal.
  5. Probably have most confidence in Bertrand taking pens.

Do you have a season ticket, pal?
  7. Surely they can and should be coached -if our most creative players aren't willing to pass and move, then something's seriously wrong. Or perhaps its just a lack of understanding which will come with time and the more games they play together.

  13. You're absolutely loving it, aren't you pal. You're in your element.
  14. Sounds like Boufal will start again?
  15. Still maintaining your defiance after being made a fool on the other thread. Good lad.
  16. He f**ked up and is still cashing in. Lucky for some.
  17. You mean politicians like Osborne.
  18. Alas that's how sterling's recent rally has been interpreted. Silly isn't it.
  19. Nope reading the economic commentary from professionals who view the news much more as a glass half-empty. Time will tell.
  20. That's right the market is betting on a softer brexit as a result of the snap election.
  21. UK growth has slowed to its weakest pace in a year and undershot market expectations. All this despite where sterling is. Brilliant news.
  22. If she's worth £300-£400m (Daily Echo), a lower estimate than previously suggested, its perfectly possible that her father's business had revenues in the billions.
  23. Compared to what goes on in China, Russia and the Gulf countries, 70K in kickbacks is like stealing a cucumber sandwich at a village fete.
  24. Not sure who the source of your info is but it flies in the face of the official announcements Lander has made to the Chinese stock market. The deal would give Lander an 80% stake. I suggest your source is mistaken.
