Excellent first half. Lost a bit of impetus after Redmond went off, though WBA were always going to have their moments. Clasie > Hojbjerg. Good saves by Forster, especially because they came thick and fast at the end, though don't think they were particularly difficult ones. Hopefully Gabbi back soon. Yoshida MoTM.

And Foster wasting shed loads of time after they jam a goal.

A message was sent but where's the strategy?

The Tadic incident at Spurs? No evidence he was actually touched? How about Alli? Christ prem refs look superhuman and omniscient in comparison to you.

Esp talking about midweek games - there were 6 alone last night.

James Ward-Prowse for England? ...say that again ...

Did Durham watch JWP's performance or just look at who was on the score sheet? Same goes for the MOTD pundits unless they've developed superhuman powers to bend time.

And if it does happen and assuming its a good thing (both massive assumptions), the annual growth rate will still be lower than the pre-Brexit growth rate. Of course, as you point out, correlation is not causation -and this might just be clickbait **** from the Express. If only we could export dodgy logic, wishful thinking and plain old bulls**t, with the likes of Trident and Les, we'd be a trading powerhouse

Generally happy with the manager as this season was always going to be one of consolidation. A weakened squad, Europe, injuries, a cup-run and behind-the-scenes uncertainty have all dealt Puel a difficult hand. That said, it would be nice to see us go on a run and put together a string of convincing performances which would give me much more confidence about the future. The jury is still out in this regard. Most of our games depend on v.v. fine lines which give both sides of the Puel in/out debate ammo. Those who can't see the case for the other side seem to be equally partial and OTT.

You've been doing ever so well to rein in the tantrums and abuse; but like a recovering alcoholic, it must be a struggle and there's always the risk of a relapse. Nobody would want to see you banned for a 3rd or 4th time.

Offer for Boufal was made before Puel joined - Boufal originally thought he would be working under Koeman, so had to reconsider things when Puel was appointed. Pied and Hassen are hardly marquee or significant signings.

Still not a patch on your weird obsession with mussos and terrorism, pal

Wasn't Sir Ivan Rogers, the UK's former chief negotiator, lambasted as an enemy of the people for suggesting something similar? https://www.ft.com/content/853e78ae-1945-11e7-a53d-df09f373be87 #projectfear

Two World Wars and one World Cup, innit pal.

Has he gone backwards under Puel?

Am just thankful we kept the Trident deterrent*. Otherwise, how could we credibly enter the next stage of negotiations? *the real one, now the plonker on this forum

Yoshida is underrated in the air - he wins more headers than he loses.

Can the Siemens CEO current position be summarised as "no reason not to invest" Yes or no, Les? Simple question. Or did Batman cherrypick from the interview to distort that position. I think I know the answer - your anger speaks volumes
-
You're all over the place Les. I simply and only pointed out that the contrast was far less sharp than disingenuously presented by Jamie. Once again is Siemens current position as simple as 'no reason not to invest'. Yes or no? Reread the interview if you're a little stuck. Instead of addressing my simple and specific point -yes or no, Les- you instead backpeddle, deflect and dissimulate over several paragraphs in an ungainly mess. If you were animal, Les, you would have been put out of your misery by now. It's getting cruel
-
No Les - wrong again, my dimwitted, little kipper. I'm not referring to what was said during the campaign (and indeed never cited Siemens during the campaign). Im questioning the current claim of "no reason not to invest". This is the interview with the CEO - you'll see the tone is fundamentally different and more nuanced when put in context. Not sure why you need to fight others battles when you've got enough on your plate to make yourself look a clown
-
It might help if you're faithful to what the Siemans CEO said - not just cherry pick parts of his interview. When you cook a dish, you follow all of the recipe. You don't leave out ingredients or instructions, do you Jamie. http://news.sky.com/story/siemens-boss-my-confidence-in-britains-future-after-brexit-10818704
