Maybe, but we’ve got decent players and City are not all that - our tactics are just terrible…every attack starts with 11 oppo players behind the ball, too many slow passes sideways and backwards, no runners to split lines and when we lose the ball the press is ineffective. Now where have we seen that before?!

I’ve lost count of the number of balls played long forward that go straight to a City player. We look very much like a team playing Russ football - slow, predictable and no bite.

I would love to provide some. Trouble is we’re not really doing anything of note except of course moving the ball nicely in our own half.

With little else to celebrate this season, I’ve decided to buy a months pass to watch the game tonight…if we’re there in the final we must have a chance of actually winning it, plus it’ll be nice to see some of the young talent we’ve got waiting in the wings to break through into the first team. There’s no other streams available by the looks of it and £4.99 is not too bad for a bit of entertainment. Good luck Saints U21’s! COYR!

This ^. Plus, to be honest I don’t mind Saints being an ‘underdog’ particularly when there is enough about the team to achieve the occasional upset. This season has been so shite, not because of individual games, but because after the first few matches, there’s not one we’ve started where I’ve thought “yep, we’ve got a chance to draw or win here’. They say it’s the hope that kills, but most of this season has seen no hope.

Perhaps he meant twist as in “let’s go, let’s turn the card”? More likely he’s lying at the foot of his spying tree next to the Marchwood bypass, groaning in agony after twisting and falling out. 🤔🙁
