  1. Oh crap Welington down which means Manning on. Fucking typical - just as we’re starting to look better and we have to endure the old scar tissue. Or perhaps not!
  2. It’s all too slow. Armstrong wastes a chance by not passing to Archer - it’s a weakness this inability to provide an assist.
  3. Shame about Jelert - he was looking like a great starter at RWB. Thinking if the idea is to get Fraser forward into attack Bristol will target every out ball down that side as it’ll be seen as a wide open weakness. Still think we can grab a result which let’s face it would be a bit of a welcome surprise.
  4. What a bunch of pansies some of you lot are - there’s every chance we can go get a result. Providing that is if Still sticks as much as possible with the same team. That’s essential in my view - it was starting to click yesterday and just needed a little bit of luck to see one of the shots go in rather than hit woodwork. Based on the better passages of play I would say the team is starting to gel - partnerships working. Still must not disrupt that if atall possible. Screw any players that are discontent because they’re not favoured - it’s not a popularity contest. Keep Baz, Stephens and Manning out of the team and we might…just might…win a game of football. 0-1 Saints. COYR!
  5. So. The take-away here is that Still should be encouraged by the showing from his starting 11. He has to be brave enough to stick with that for the next two away games and provide the team the opportunity to gel. Fuck around with the line-up just because we were unlucky to hit the post three times and have other close misses would be a terrible mistake. He doesn’t have better players at the moment, so the one chink of light was the team performed better - there was more attacking intent and that is progress after 3 seasons of shite football. It’s not the finished product no, but it’s progress, a clean sheet and a point. Yes we need more and the progress is fragile, but fucking around after clear improvement in performance will be the wrong move.
  6. FFS - Swansea corner…here we go.
  7. Robinson trying too hard to be something he isn’t.
  8. Their keeper wasting time. Says it all.
  9. How the fuck did that not go in??!?!?
  10. Scienza looking tired now unfortunately
  11. Fellows and Robinson on - but Archer off? Mmm.
  12. Swansea starting to get on top a little.
  13. Scienza is different class!
  14. We’re all over them! Just no luck in front of goal.
  15. Brilliant from Jelert!!!
  16. Archer should have hit target there
  17. I think we’re looking comfortable and if we can score we win.
  18. Wing backs are looking so much better today.
  19. Charles looking good today.
  20. Welington already closer to his man than Manning ever is.
  21. Galbraith is a good player for the Swans.
  22. Pointless putting Fellows on without a big CF to get on the end of crosses…this line-up makes use of the best options across the forward line. Great to see a balanced pair of wing-backs and Manning dropped. Great to see Still putting his faith in McCarthy. THB the best of the CB options. Yes it’s a 5 at home, but it’s an attacking formation that packs the midfield, so I’m happy with it. COYS!
  23. Aribo certainly could possibly do a job as a central attacker - knows how to trap and defend a ball and can turn his man. I can see no reason whatsoever why Still should not give him a go for the first half and see if it clicks with AA playing off him on the right and Scienza on the left and Azaz behind him as 10.
  24. This maybe be correct. Thing is you get another manager and typically he’ll say he needs 6 new players and will drop X number of players because they can’t play his style. And on it goes - bloated, poorly performing squad that’s not getting results because they don’t suit or don’t get the system they’re being asked to play. SR are floundering and the easiest option right now is stick and hope it falls into place.
