Tactics are wrong. 5/11 players are shite. 5/11 players are having a mare. 1 player is trying with no support. No prizes for guessing who fits which category. Will it change? Nope.

How does this level of shiteness get back into this team? It’s completely bizarre how Tonda has managed to provide some evidence of hope and then a few games later it’s back to utterly shite again. I think I’ve got at least three points now.

Let me make some predictions, albeit fairly easy ones… 1. Possession stats will be high, but most of it for us will be in our half. There will be at least two calamitous incidents as a result where we get out pissing around. 2. Robinson will run around a lot and pressure their defence, but ultimately not see a pass and/or give the ball away running into a blind alley. 3. Manning will at least once stand off his man allowing a cross to an unmarked player. He will also find himself caught upfield at least once and amble back. 4. By the time Tonda reacts to us conceding a goal - possibly two - to bring on Scienza the game will be lost already. Therefore his stunning plan to get subs to make the team better will be pointless. 5. Despite Brum being on a bad run, we will ensure we make them look like Barca, particularly in midfield where we will be found wanting. Downes and Manning will pass backwards more than they pass forwards. 6. Score? 2-0 Brum. Lets see how many I get right or even close.

Amazingly I’ve gone from disliking this team with a passion to recovering some interest to now holding some serious disdain for them. And Tonda is just a bystander.

Utter shite football once again. Manning is just awful as usual and just when you need Bazunu to be a keeper, he shows he’s not one. The team has somehow conspired to totally reverting back to Russball.

We should hammer them. Should is the operative word here in a banana skin type of way. All the usual suspects will let us down.

It seems the debacle that was last season and the terrible start to this season has dimmed in the memories of some. Tonda has reversed this to large extent but it’s a long way back from the pit of despair we’ve witnessed and he’s still got a large contingent of the players that took us to that dark place. He’s doing well under those circumstances and deserves to see out the transformation completely when he’s got a decent back room staff (particularly a no.2 that can help him make better decisions) and the chance to exorcise some the dross in the squad.
