Don't get me wrong - I simply think that our position doesn't tell the full story. We are head a shoulders a better football team than any other in this league. That doesn't (as has been proven) mean we will win every game but we play a passing game that would not be out of place in the Premiership even now...

Touch disappointed to be honest. Noone has been good enough to beat us - we have conspired to let them win with poor defending and terrible finishing. When we step it up a gear and play to our true potential every game you will see the real quality in our side. We're on top of the league - super. We should and COULD be six or seven points clear.

So let me clarify, team's haven't worked us out? We do or don't need to change our passing game? Just want to be absolutely clear on this...

I would rather, unlike a certain other chairman, that priority was given to the team. I will happily miss our goals on a big screen (which doesn't show replays) than watch the opposition score on gleaming screens that cost the same as a striker....

I am most concerned that teams have worked us out.

I believe that one of our challenges is the ease with which we are playing around teams at home. There is a big difference between confidence and complacency and our skills levels in terms of passing seems head and shoulders above the opposition in most games. The challenge is that we still have to defend from the front and we must score when we're on top. Sometimes you can be so good you forget you also have to work hard.

This is exactly right. How many games have you seen (ours and others) where teams have destroyed the opposition but still lost or drawn?? It's not because they have been found out, but as you point out, because of individual error, poor finishing an/or bad luck. From the highlights I've seen and commentary heard of both away games, our play deserved better than the bare results.

I think what you've identified is exactly right, Kelvin's selection sometimes leave a lot to be desired!

I'm with you 100%. I'm bored of our impatient fans who scream at players when they are comfortable on the ball. We pass the ball well. Last night one player made a mistake playing the ball out - and held his hands up. He was under no pressure and just hit a poor pass. Apaprently now we're top of the league we have to go back to the long ball. Tell you what, let's see if Pardew want his old job...

You missed the 4-1 demolition of Birmingham then? There is one truism in football. If you pass the ball to a colleague in space the opposition cannot score.
