  1. Are you retarded?
  2. You didn't answer my questions. I think I know the answers anyway so don't worry. You'll only embarrass yourself further. Did Stoke overachieve? No, not in my OPINION. Stoke spent £120 net more than Arsenal from 2006 to the end of Tony Pulis' reign. They underachieved given their level of spending. And they continue to do so. Are English players technically as good as the Spanish, Germans and Brazilians? Some are, some aren't. In my OPINION, the likes of Wilshere and Lallana are more technical players than the likes of Ramires or Khedira for instance. However, its all subjective. Have England constantly failed at tournaments? In my OPINION, yes they have. However, Many others would contend that the qtr finals is the best we could hope for. Some would say the Qtr finals is pushing above our weight. Again though, its subjective, and it depends on your perspective. It is not a fact. Do people like playing against 'orrible aggressive players? In my OPINION, I would expect the likes of Brazil, Spain and Germany (using your examples) would love to play against Lee Cattermole!!! They would embarrass him more than you are embarrassing yourself. I can't be bothered to go on. You get my point (you probably don't).
  3. (Clue: 'A fact' and 'an opinion' are different things)
  4. Haha. You're on a different planet. Writing FACT in capitals doesn't make them facts either. Serious question now. Ready? Sure? Ok. Here goes: DO YOU KNOW WHAT A FACT IS? If you don't, try this easier question: DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FACT AND AN OPINION?
  5. Do you know what a fact is you moron? Read each one of those statements again. Not one of them is a fact. Each one is an opinion.
  6. Writing FACT at the end of your post doesn't make anything you've written factual. The ironic thing is it is all ********.
  7. I think your view seems to be we'll never change so let's just hoof it and see what happens? That works well for Stoke and West Ham doesn't it. Another view is you could start afresh, and build a squad young enough so that you can work on over a long period of time that would play the way you want them to play. England should play the pressing game Saints play, but as some have rightly pointed out, you can only play that way successfully by getting it drummed into you on the training pitch. I would say a squad needs selecting now that is young enough to be around for the next 5 years so that we can implement a system and a way of playing over time. There should be no more than 3 or 4 over 25's (excluding goalkeepers) and those players should be ones that would buy into what they were trying to do. I'd go with the following squad: GK: Hart, Forster, Butland RB: Walker, Clyne LB: Gibbs, Shaw CB: Jagielka, Smalling, Jones CM: Ward-Prowse, Barkley, Wilshere, Morrison AM: Townsend, Ox, Walcott, Lallana, Welbeck, FW: Rooney, Sturridge, Berahino Admittedly, that squad would struggle initially but if you worked on them and their mentality and a way of playing and pressing as a team, then I think it would reap benefits in the longer term. Naturally, players would come and go from this squad based on form but so long as the principles and the nucleus remained the same you could make personnel changes.
  8. I still think you're on a wind up.
  9. It's difficult to tell whether this is a joke or not. Or rather, it is a joke in at least one sense, I'm just not sure whether it was intended as a joke.
  10. If that happens then it can only be because Roy wants to see AL from the start against Germany. AL is the third best midfielder/attacking midfielder in the country at the moment behind only Ozil and Ramsey in my opinion.
  11. I think Roy will want to see Lallana with the 'first team' against Germany so I'm expecting something like this for Chile: -----------Rickie----------- JRod-----Henderson or Barkley or Cleverley-----Milner And then something like this for Germany: --------------Sturridge-------------- Lallana-------Rooney-------Townsend
  12. I will genuinely think we are in the title race if we are up there after 19 games when we have played everyone once. In our next 8 games we play 6 of the top 9. Only then I think we can really judge whether we are in the title race. 10 points from the next 8 and we'll certainly be in contention for top 4 at the half way stage.
  13. Listen pal, for years you and posters of your ilk who day in day out have smugly posted negative, doomsday type stuff about our club whilst we were in steep decline. You had your time. This is mine and this is everyone else's who stayed positive throughout all the bad years, despite the constant ridicule from the likes of you that we were dreamers/happy clappers or whatever else you lot have called us. Do one.
  14. I am a pretty positive guy but I'm loathe to predict results against Arsenal and Chelsea because Saints just keep exceeding even my high hopes and expectations. I just know whatever happens, we'll give both of them a really tough game.
  15. Predicted 4-0. Too many bedwetters on this site. "Banana skin all over it", "Wheels might come off", "Can see us losing this one". All comments posted on this site. C'mon, we're good. Time for the bedwetters to get on board with that or **** off. i wonder which one of Barry Sanchez, Dalek or some othersmart ***** will come out with "18 point to safety" first ?
  16. Exactly the team and bench I would go with. I think we'll dominate from start to finish tomorrow and win comfortably. 4-0.
  17. I'm off to bed; its way past my bedtime. I'll assume you all take my bet. May2014 can't come soon enough.
  18. Painfully predictable.
  19. Damn, I forgot Dalek off my list.
  20. Calm down sweetheart.
  21. Pretty sure I didn't mention you Turkish.
  22. If we get relegated as many of that lot would expect, I will leave.
  23. It won't prove anything. But I won't have to read your **** anymore.
  24. Sour Mash, Barry Sanchez, CB Fry, The Kraken and The9. And to a lesser extent Glasgow Saint. How do you all fancy a little bet? How about if Saints qualify for the Champions League this year, you all promise to remove yourselves and your negative, small time thoughts from this website forever? You're so sure we're going to fail and that you think we'll be lucky if we just manage to stay up that this should be an easy bet for you all to take.
  25. I see the small timers are out in force on this thread too.
