Just trying to work out if puberty is a phase or a lifestyle choice.
-
I hope you have the relevant 'you tube' clips.

And on that brilliant note, its goodnight from me and hopefully it's goodnight from St Will who is trying to work out how to insert practice days in 6 days of practice day and tournaments - good luck with that. 26 and still not on the European tour, don't worry about it you'll soon be old enough to take up bowls, assuming you still like your outdoor sports fully trousered. Will are you based at Basingtoke Colf Club, The Peter Alliss designed Dummer or Test Valley club that Jody Scheckter could put to better use as buffalo grazing? Afterall it's just another fat bunch of males hacking at the grass pretending to be sporty - unlike the buffalos.
-
And that from a poster who couldn't pour water from his wellies if the instructions on how to do so were printed on the heel. You've mastered the art of rubbishing posts and not providing one soupcon of an idea as to why. Look out Richard Dimbleby.

Benji, I agree Poortvliet was not up to the job and I don't understand why the two of them were employed in the first place when they clearly did not get on. However, I think Wotte is a decent man and does have something to bring to the game and recommendations from the likes of Martin Jol will do for me. I won't drag up the stats on Pearson as that has been done before and you know where I stand on that matter. However, based on what Pearson achieved at Saints and what Wotte achieved as manager it would suggest that the latter has just as much chance of making it as Pearson given the right role. There is no other sensible viewpoint as both were unproven when they left Saints but clearly Wotte was working in an atmosphere far more hostile than Pearson and for far less money allegedly.

An excellent and thought provoking post if I may so and proves that the laws of a country or a society written or otherwise are far worse than those who have to execute them. Norman Mailer wrote 'Society is built on many people hurting many people, it is just who does the hurting, which is open to dispute'. Orwell 4 years after the end of WWII wrote 1984 and one quote in particular from that book sums up the attitude of those baying for the blood of this pitiful old man. it was also very insightful. 'If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - for ever'

It said 10 albums so what are you trying to prove?

Pro's are in just like Tennis but they have to compete just for the prestige of winning an Olympic gold with the backing of all their millions whereas genuine athletes rely on grants and total dedication.
-
Maybe not but he could run in the para-olympics and I bet he would be good at the hopscotch.

All of whom break sweat to help them develop the attributes required for their particular sport. Golf is just outdoor snooker. The day we watch Usain Bolt win a 100m in some garish trousers or covered head to toe in gortex to protect him from the inclement weather conditions then you may have a point. The IOC made a huge error of judgement by allowing golf into the Olympics and IMO someone like Tiger Woods one if not the world's richest 'sportsmen' winning a gold medal will demean the honour for those who have been through the pain barrier countless times and for a mere pittance simply for the glory of their achievement. I don't dislike golf as a pastime but I despise it's new status in the Olympics as like a few other 'sports' it is not in the true spirit of the games.

I doubt that your posts are far to short.
-
How do we know you are? 26 and not on the European tour? Are you a late developer. Working class background didn't hold Tiger back even though he was robbed of his childhood by a Dad hell bent on living his dream and financial security through his son, allegedly. For someone so working class Will you have a strange view on this country's benefit system even as screwed up as it is.

So Pearson took 12 games to use Lallana who scored in that game at WBA and did he start in the last game? He didn't misuse Lallana he barely played him - he misused Surman.

Just suspicious that this is not about posting your favourite albums but more about your knowledge of music being better than anyone else's. Of the 1000 or so regular posters on this forum there is not one person who thinks for example the Black Eyed Peas or Lady GaGa or Robbie Williams or JLS are not their fav albums. The reason people don't post what they really enjoyed listening to is fear of attack from the Weird Pseud's - my favourite band of the TSWF.

No problem with Kardeem, anyone who is a professional golfer and accepts it is not a sport in the true spirit of the Olympians is balanced and refreshingly honest.

St Will and Dubai is wonderful Phil I am afraid feed the stereotype for those like yourself may enjoy the pastime minus the image. I was responding to St Will's accusations that the Mods are all geeks and bullied at school but in my experience the bully's tend to be attention seeking liitle rich kids whose Daddy's are always playing golf. No disrespect Stevo but I couldn't support your nomination as I would be off at the merest mention of the words using an iron to guide it in the hole.

TDD is a submarine that can read and type? The mod kept that silent.
-
Probably by the offspring of the white golfing middle classes who acted out their little attention seeking fantasies in the absence of a father figure more interested in chasing a little white ball over 4 miles or doing silly things in 4x4's, than attending to the emotional needs of their families. Just a hunch.
-
Looking at his avatar, is it true he enjoys being inside a sub?

That would mean playing most teams twice before Christmas or we could have played the lower teams when we were at our most weak and in theory could actually be routed in the relegation zone. Was Norwich or Brighton or Orient a missed opportunity? Your post makes no sense.

I don't share that belief Mick and feel that this squad are together with the aim to get promoted next season. Both Pardew and Mr Cortese have been quite clear with that plan and I can only assume the players have been brought together on that basis. If we don't make it in May 2011 then I would agree with you except that I don't believe it would be any harder that for any other club in getting in suitable replacements. Unless the squad is trimmed significantly I am certain we will not buy any players and deviate from the current plan whether we are 8 points off or 1 point off. What we don't want to do is get promoted and have such a massive coast basis in the CCC that we can't afford to strenghten and then get relegated back to L1.

Shirley Bassey's new album is supposed to be very good as I have previously mentioned with the Apartment written especially for her by renowned and well known Rufus Wainwright III. No doubt if my favourite music of 2009 was Toad the Wet Sprocket or Ned's Atomic Dustbin I would be Mr Uber Cool and my selections accepted without comment for fear of looking 'out of touch' with the latest grooves. SuBo's - I have a Dream, still brings a tear to the eye and how many people can be that wrong? Seems to me Scu that this thread is not about the best albums of 2009 but with a few exceptions, the most obscure. As Deppo suggested there is more material in this thread to keep Psueds Corner in print until we come to crown the 2010 top 10. It reminds me of the sketchs The Fast Show use to do about TOGWT and the guy talking about Jazz or they may have been the same thing but still if you know the sketches you will get the point. Anyway my top 10 albums for 2009 are as follows: The Fame Monster - Lady 'have I or haven't I ' Gaga I Dreamed a Dream - Subo 'of weird applauding fame' Taylor Swift Holiday Collection - by the luckily named Taylor Swift Where We Are - West 'hopefully not far' Life Rated R - Rhianna 'Rated R but no scat, allegedly doesn't like the brown stuff' The Twilight Saga. New Moon Original soundtrack - Various Artists 'A very prolific band with a huge discography' Reality Killed the Video Star - Jesus Christ The Alesha Show - Alesha Dixon 'Dixanywhere, I just enjoy watching come dancing.' Echo - Leona 'Red Rum' Lewis JLS - JLS 'supported by Nokia ringtones' Scu, I HTH.
