  1. Early days of Markus entering the stadium, The Echo talks about him being a 'doddering old fool' or similar (may have been doddering old man but that article has been pulled from the site). Was at the same time as the spat with NC et al (e.g. cast your mind back to http://bit.ly/b9yhZN )
  2. Who knows what drives these high flyers? Why should we rule him out? Perhaps he's sitting there in his mansion thinking 'What can I do now? I've done sooo much in my career what could I do next'. Saints job comes along, great club, great infrastructure, great fans, great potential ...... Oh no, it's not going to happen because TDD thinks it'll be below you. Move on then.
  3. Best post of the night - thank you
  4. Sorry, didn't know you were ITK - who is it then? BTW - think you read what you wanted to read and missed the point of that post
  5. Don't get me wrong, Adkins would be good but I'd be even happier if NC announces Brown or MoN as our new managers and that'd really stick two fingers up to the Echo with their 'Our sources tell us' (i.e. SWF). Sorry but I'll never let 'the doddering old fool' statement from the Echo drop and I hope NC doesn't let it drop either and hope he's leaking what he wants to be leaked to those muppets.
  6. Better be a 30/1 when the bet was placed. However, Skybet wouldn't give me any odds on Cortese so he might be the dark horse Only reason for Magilton really was cos of my connection to ITFC... BTW - who's paying for the champers and is it at yours Phil?
  7. Agree - it's been pretty funny the silences then occasional posts from official saints. The next hook is out there to them but they haven't bitten yet though - hmmm Did like the quote on twitter about "Oh God. Not Phil Brown. Anyone but Phil Brown." and then the response around Hoddle or Redknapp and he retracted So Mr DP - who you on twitter?
  8. Cortese (you heard it here first, he'll install himself as manager) MoN Magilton
  9. Think you'll find that the OP's birthday was Monday just gone and none of you f***ers said happy birthday. Anyhow, hope you had a good evening and hope you followed advice from Tripadvisor which I use every time rather than rely on this lot
  10. Which Sunday?
  11. And don't end up looking like a right t1t
  12. Yup, the same Echo who brilliantly reported this: http://bit.ly/b9yhZN
  13. Or maybe from this post here on Saturday
  14. Indeed - made it out alive. Appreciate the concern
  15. Only costs a fiver and it'd be so so worth it.
  16. Ah, teenages now-a-days know it as 'the red button'. Still never use it though when you have Saintsweb, BBCNews and Twitter. (that's the smiley icon)
  17. May I be the first on the forum (possibly) to say, 'Happy Birthday today Leonardo for your forty-first birthday' Move on, nothing to see here.
  18. Change of plan - there's the house that Fonte just pulled out of on Friday that's available all of a sudden in Southampton ...
  19. Rooney? Certainly would have the Wow factor - I'm sure he's had a prossie with the initials 'CV' - I can see what they did there
  20. No way it can be EC - he should have been struck off for what he did and should never be able to grace the football stage again. Similar to that ***t Brian Clough who punched a fan then went on the tele and allowed the fan to give him a kiss. Phew - that feels better now. PS It's Keane
  21. WTF - Teletext - you living in the dark ages? BTW, as someone's said, there's far more to the story than that!
  22. There are times when that big lightbulb goes 'PING' and you just know the obvious was sitting there trying to jump out in front of you. 5 Live were saying that there's an announcement mid-week with a 'Wow' factor about the new manager.. I've figured it out. NC is going to announce that him and AP have kissed and made up and AP is the new manager. That'd tick the 'Wow' box wouldn't it?
  23. The only reason he turned up today was to pick up the pre-match award - fact
  24. You seen the OS? The caretaker manager revealed that the team were upset following the game, but believes that they were not far off their usual selves during the match. Hello? What game was he watching? If he thinks their performance was not far off their usual then we've got a HUGE problem with the manager - caretaker or not. This is not the kind of statement I'd expect to see from a manager who'd lost their last two games so convincingly.
