Saints (0)v(3) Swindon,post match misery...
Tractor_Saint replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Sorry folks, just my attempt at a joke on a bad bad day! -
Straight red confirm by ref the puppet. 3 game ban
-
Thought ref gave two reds to barnard and an other but sounds like it was a yellow for the tackle and a second yellow for protesting.

Saints (0)v(3) Swindon,post match misery...
Tractor_Saint replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Positives 1. Not much traffic around leaving tonight 2. It's just a paint pot trophy Negatives 1. Saw two good potential managers in the crowd tonight but they left at half time 2. Ricky gave up 2nd half 3. Barnard was unlucky to get sent off. Ref hopefully had his last game tonight. 4. Even Harding gave up his usual aggression to the ball boys -
Saints v Swindon,1st half & half time chat...
Tractor_Saint replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Shouldn't their number 32 have been booked for celebrating the goal to the saints fans? Wot a w***er -
Got it wrong. Zola was told he could sail into #saintsfc - seems he got it wrong http://tweetphoto.com/42551359

Barnard on the bench?
-
Oh come on, how could saints possibly lose - Swindon have lost their last 5 games
-
Well us real fans are on their way to see their team play regardless of who is or isn't the manager.COYR WIFM

Why do you think Cortese waited for us all to renew our season tickets before changing the manager. Clever huh?
-
Speechless... only explanation I have is that he was going after the Bournemouth match but with Markus passing away those plans were put on hold.

Bristol Rovers (0) V (4) Saints,Post match wooting..
Tractor_Saint replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Passed Bristol on the way back from Wales today around 13:00 and waved to the Saints fans. Heard the game on the radio and I think rating Guly as a 5 is a bit harsh - you do mention that he was on for 5 minutes and from previous ratings people haven't really rated 5 minute subs. However, from what I heard Guly appears to be what we need - passing to feet, watching to see who to pass to next - least the people behind me will be happy as I won't be shouting "Keep it on the f*cking floor" all the time with him playing. As an aside, sounding like Dickson has exactly what we need, someone who'll go down the wing and get to the by-line and pull back a cross. Shame no one was there today Very very happy with the result and well played lads. WIFM. Came home from holiday to find the Swindon tickets on the door mat. Can't wait. -
Northam is prob three quarters saints allocated today. COYR Wifm

Official Statement from Cortese about future
Tractor_Saint replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Saints
Is it a bit OTT to ask for a song tomorrow for Cortese? Come on, the guys been through a lot and seems appropriate to let him know that he's not the big bad wolf at this moment in time and we are behind him? # Cortese give us a wave, Cortese tese give us a wave ... Come on you songwriters -
Markus Liebherr RIP. All tributes here please.

Not according to Official Saints on twitter - tributes will still be there tomorrow: officialsaints RT @TractorSaint: Are we going to be able to see the tributes at St Mary's tomorrow? #saintsfc -
Thanks for all your responses. Finally got through to someone who helped at Expedia after asking to speak to the supervisor (first time I asked to speak to the manager I was put on hold and gave up after 30 minutes of holding). I think that my ticket has been updated now but just awaiting confirmation from Flybe that all's well. Phew!
-
Thanks SK - I'm more concerned about what the mood would be of the ground staff when I try to leave on the way back
-
I did ring Flybe - they tell me that it's an easy change on their end but because I've booked it through Expedia it's Expedia that has to make the update and there's nothing they can do... ARGH.
-
OK, so I've just booked a holiday with flights to Malaga via Expedia. Unfortunately there's a bug in the sign up process on Expedia (seriously!) as I've put 'Mike' as the profile name but before booking the tickets changed my firstname entry to 'Michael'. However, because I hadn't filled something on the page correctly, when I hit 'Continue' it asked me to correct my passport details. Unknown to me, it had also reset 'Michael' to 'Mike' further up the page. So, Flybe have sent the e-ticket to me with MIKE instead of MICHAEL. Is that going to be an issue? I've tried to call Expedia quite a few times but they keep fobbing me off that they can't get hold of Flybe and they'll call me 'tomorrow'. So far, tomorrow hasn't come - 3 days running. Obviously not very happy, anyone got experience of where a first name isn't the same as the passport? Cheers Mike / Michael / whatever.

QPR fan during cup loss on Tues...
Tractor_Saint replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Muppet Show
Someone very like him in Kingsland North on Tuesday - big tall bloke, kept standing up, thought he was a saints fan 'not quite there'. Kept being asked to sit down by stewards. Moved 2nd half to a seat the other side of me - when Lalana's goal went in I saw him being walked out of the ground - assumed he was a Bournemouth fan. Muppet -

And there was I thinking I wouldn't post the fact that when I first read this thread I misread and wondered whether this was 'MILF' related but decided not to post it.. however, always got to laugh some times and I did, thanks Draino. WIFM
