Oh Did anyone see that Rovers fan throw something at Antonio? I was so angry I had to go and report it to the police. Good to see he got ejected in the end and I hope he got banned from the ground for the season at least.

just on the M4 on the way back. A fantastic 6 mins or so for our goals but when the rain came down we lost control. Loved the 'we're the wet stand over here' and then 'we're the dry stand over here'.

Bristol Rovers Vs Saints,1st half & half time chat..
Tractor_Saint replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
watch out for there number 17 (kofour or summit) Playing for the foul ever time and will get more players in the book. At the match and a lot of saints fans here but not enough noise. COYR!!!!! -
No pubs near the ground allowing away supporters. closest we have found is the sportsman pub. head down the hill on the main road (stadium on the left) and 5 mins turn left signposted the cricket ground. pub 2 mins down there on lhs. coyr!

Have bought a few of these and last time I bought one it was on Amazon (seriously - they used to sell them but funnily enough no more). The seller is here: http://www.r4ds-gaming.co.uk/ Pretty good pricing I think as well... Got 2 x N5's in my kids DS's with 8Gb cards in (and if you sit in Kingsland you may see them being played near the front row during quiet periods by my kids!)

Was thinking that too and the only half decent retort I could come up with was at least when someone looked down it might say "SUC"

So, those at the game today, I'm always really frustrated that we never seem to go down the wing down to the oppositions by-line and cut crosses back from there... sounds like Papa was trying to do that regularly today but not with much success. So, was the (dubious) commentary today on the button with the way Papa played? Was he getting in those positions but just not getting the final cross in?

So if you didn't post anything about Saints how come you were amazed at the way they felt about Southampton? I'm sure there are a lot of Poopey supporters who are posting about their financial position etc. etc. but don't get a load of verbal back. You sure you didn't say something like "Scummer posting in peace.." Well, I suppose you got you 5 minutes of fame you were after. Hey ho.

Lambert put it wide - should have scored

Lallana missed a sitter

Free kick just outside the penalty area to Saints - COYR

Corner ! This is the one.... Harding..

Indeed - I'm sure if a Pompey supporter posted on this forum his views on his own team then everyone on the forum would embrace him and have a balanced opinion of the pros and cons of supporting Pompey or Saints. Come on, the OP went onto a Pompey forum and posted about Saints and was upset by the response and 'how nasty they all are' and then posts trying to insight a similar response from the Saints forum. Hence my call to put it in /dev/null (which, really, is the big electronic bit bucket in the sky).
-
Oh god - lounge or /dev/null
-
Ah but I've plugged it too on the 'Comments' bit of the Echo page!

Text of the chat now on Echo site http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4707647.Review_the_Saints_webchat/
-
Well I found that quite interesting - should be a transcript available on the Echo at some point of all the questions and answers.

So, they haven't liked my last three questions then Hey ho, least Trousers mentioned Saintsweb!
-
I asked about the crap PA system...

Anyone local to Bristol able to give a Postal code or similar of somewhere within 10 minutes walk of the ground where I can park my (half decent) car before the game and be able to find it in the same condition as it was left ? Am I the only one that thinks having your footy team sticker in your car is asking for trouble at away games ?
-
Hmm fair enough - glad you weren't around in 1982 then.
