Has it ever been discussed about having an IRC channel for match days? Those that can't make the match could then talk about the match on the IRC channel rather than on the saintsweb forum? Deffo wouldn't take much away from the forum but IMHO would be better as you wouldn't get posts 2 minutes after a goal saying "Goal!" ? Just a thought, I'll shut up now (and go into IRC to see if there is one already and if not sit there on my own for the rest of the match on #saintsweb )

Must have been a close call with KD's performance as well but deffo well deserved and good to give to a recent recruit.

Like it!! A slight adaptation and change 'Daylight' to [insert opposition side here]' and sing after he scores against them e.g. Waigo! Wa-ai-i-go Pompey come and they wanna go home...

Thank god I read that before finding this below when googling the Smurf

Season-long loan... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papa_Waigo_N'Diaye Received through Saints SMS text: "BREAKING NEWS: Saints have received confirmatoin of the season-long loan signing of Senegalese international striker Papa Waigo N'Diaye from Fiorentina..."

Wouldn't be surprised if Keano at Ipswich is sniffing with Stead potentially moving on ...

And then You my twin?
-
I scored!!! (what do you mean I was supposed to hit the crossbar?)
-
Agree with all of that - KD was also on great form and had 2 or 3 fantastic saves. Anyone else think Lambert looked a bit sluggish or maybe even injured? Also, did anyone see any CCC / Prem scouts in the crowd? Seems Saga played his heart out
-
Watch out for the tall balding one at the half time competition to hit the crossbar (wearing away top)... can't believe I agreed to take part - Im crap at footy!

So, a good crowd of 19,169 - who wins? (Can't be bothered to scan back through as wireless is absolutely shocking at Butlins and I paid £35 for the privilege!)
-
19C - my kids not hers and she was a ST holder before me so priorities are perfect thanks
-
16,996 - stuck at Butlins in Minehead with the girlfriend and the kids so we're not going to be there but will be list-list-listen-en-en-ening! COYR!!

The team are arriving at the Swindon De Vere around noon and are staying there tonight (also having a pre-match meal) Just in case anyone fancied a beer this afternoon or after the match

Very classy. Nuff said

Yup - re-read it and the OP states: My eight year old heard this and said "SKATE!" The other said "Come on you reds!" Needless to say the 'Saint' and I laughed our socks off. Perhaps it's because I'm living in a PO postcode that I'd be mortified if one of my children said that to complete strangers round here and maybe it's acceptable elsewhere. No issues with friendly banter when you've got a skate mate but, IMHO kids shouldn't be encouraged to call complete strangers 'Skates' or, if they do, they understand any consequences.

We didn't win. They are a top class side in the division and tipped for the top. We were away from home. Clue folks, we're not going to win every game and sometimes we'll lose. I'd rather lose to a team like Huddersfield at the start of the season than some tin pot club towards the end of it. Chin up - Pompey lost

Double change from Pardew Millis and Thompson on, James and Spiderman off

Yup - and three blokes - one with short blonde hair, not sure where Helen is...

A: Your friend doesn't need to apologise, his English is a bit better than my dutch B: JP - sack your advisor or hang yourself. How the hell do you go into a contract to manage a 2nd tier English team a lose money??
-
Sorry, have to have my two penneth. I read the original post and wasn't going to respond but now feel I have to. Can you put the boot on the other foot? Had you been having a private conversation with a friend of yours and an eight year old come up and call you a scummer and his dad / grandfather laughed would you think it was good fun? I know I wouldn't and I'd be horrified if my children would do something like that.

How about using the phone? The £1.50 charge is only if you use a credit card and you won't be charged if you use a debit card. See the Brum ticket thread on the forum...

Can't be in Huddersfield this weekend so will try the player out on Saturday. If it's ****e I'll make sure I talk to the real person in charge and not some helpdesk in the middle of no where.
