They were gathered in the same building as a Hamas fighter, that makes them combatants. It's the same as Israel redefining all medical staff and their families as terrorists. They know exactly what they're doing - and it isn't about hostages or self-defence.
-
What Israel is doing in Gaza now is a war of devastation: the indiscriminate, limitless, cruel and criminal killing of civilians. Israel is committing war crimes.

So as I understand it, season ticket holders should be getting free coffees on ferry trips then...

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

He's got his future in a British steal. -
It looks like the work of a first year psychology student who was asked to make a specific finding using provocative language normally associated with PR and lobbying. I got the impression it was suggesting that those who shows concern about civilians in Gaza don't understand their own thoughts*, which the Brexit thickos claim is patronising, and I've also seen other arguments that concerns about conflicts are only valid if you list concerns about everywhere else at the same time. I still believe that you are allowed to call out war crimes on a case-by-case basis, and I don't support the argument posted earlier that the UK Rabbi is anti-semetic because he linked the IDF with Jews everywhere, I just think he was unwise to use those words. *If you want to confirm that your a little bit thick, just post a confused emoji down the bottom.
-
Indeed, sadly there are people like that, they're called anti-semites. There are other people who don't approve of civilians being killed for sport, they're called normal human beings.
-
While the talentless self-promoting Glastonbury twats spouted a load of old shit and could well be charged with offences, is it wise for the UK Chief Rabbi to link the IDF and the international Jewish community as the same entity? To label criticism of IDF war crimes as Jew-hatred is traditionally the lazy last resort distraction of the ill-informed and a tactic of professional lobbyists trying to shut down debate. When he has the moral high ground, I think his choice of language was unwise.

With the state of his CV and his reputation I must confess I thought I would never see the words 'interesting' and Andrew Neil in the same sentence ever again. -

Coal mines, that's what we need, reopen coal mines that were not viable 40 years ago. Farage is a clueless twat trying to guess what stupid people want to hear. oh but RB, you can't call them stupid.... If they believe that spending hundreds of millions of pounds on coal mines is the answer to anything, they are stupid. -
You can't please everyone, but there is an awful lot of stuff that's not for me, and that's fine. Acts that might surprise? Gary Numan - if you're expecting synth pop and Cars, you'll be getting some pretty cool heavy industrial guitar-driven rock. And Lewis Capaldi - that was a proper comeback, fair play to the boy.

The last few cabinets of the Tory carcrash were the most inept and corrupt in living memory, possibly ever - not just overpromoted chancers, there are former ministers who should be in prison. Add in the list of absolute idiots and sycophantic morons who destroyed departments under Boris, and you'd have to go some to beat that debacle, so no, Labour aren't worse yet, by a long way. But I fear they'll give it a try...improvement needed. -
The talking stops, now we get to see Reform actually running things, showing us how competent they really are. Should be interesting.

Fucking scruff, why can't he dress smarter like that nice Mr Hitler, he was always well turned out.

Anyone who trusts promises given by Israel and Iran has incredibly poor judgement, and shouldn't be in charge of anything important.

Is that the aid centres that the US has kindly managed to monetise? What a business plan, you get to gather all your soft targets in one place and make a few quid along the way - disguised as charity, you get tax breaks too.

I heard someone talking about getting their dog a muzzle-refreshing blueberry facial... I know on this day of all days we're not allowed to even suggest that some members of the public are gullible and easily-led into unwise decisions, but in the long history of mongrels, when has a dog ever needed a blueberry facial? Beans for sale.

There certainly will be those situations, and that's why the proper safeguards should be put in place. The alternative yesterday was to throw out the whole idea, personally I feel like we're moving in the correct direction.

I think some people have either misunderstood the detail or not read it - the campaigners with placards about murder clearly have no grasp of the concept being proposed. The patient has to be the one that makes any decision, not a random doctor, any professionals involved are just the safeguard if a patient has already made the decision - their job is to establish whether the patient qualifies and is making an informed decision of their own free will. Yes, the legislation will need to be tightened and the correct protocols put in place, but it will end a lot of suffering. That has to be progress in a society where some humans are currently forced to die in agony, and pets are not.

Can I be the first to politely disagree? Israel have hit so many hospitals. health centres and medical facilities with no proof of links to terrorists, they've also targeted ambulances, and even executed paramedics. They can not claim any moral high ground on this issue, and it's ridiculous that they would even attempt it.

In 1944 we designed, built and transported functional floating harbours to France in a matter of months. Today we need 20 years to build a fucking railway that won't go to where it was intended - and forget coming in on budget, that went out of the window on day one. How have we become so crap at doing stuff?
-
Israel has accused Iran of deliberately targeting civilians...

Reform's lack of policies, their MPs' lack of personal integrity, the vague transparency of the company and its funding, the back-of-the-envelope budget plans, the lack of ability to control four or five MPs, its lobbying links, their inability to weed out racists, and the dubious motives of a significant number of their supporters, all allows us to take an educated guess at how they might perform in power. They've given us enough data. You don't have to experiment with playing the Russell Martin way in the Premier League to find out how it might go, the clues are out there. The running of their county councils will tell us if Reform 2025 Limited is a serious company worthy of national power. Change was badly needed - the Conservatives plan was mad, Labour's plan looks like they can't offer change, Reform haven't even bothered with a plan.
