His shirt allergy has flared up again - should be a couple of weeks.

Clearly part of the self-defence campaign to rescue hostages.
  3. Had other more pressing matters.
  4. Trousers had to move west for tax reasons, he made millions from his strawberry mivvi and cornets empire. His mansion has two concrete 99s as gateposts and sprinkles instead of gravel - he'll be off to Dubai with Phil any day now. 😡
  5. The last time someone said they'd leave it there, they were back seven minutes later - slamming the door on the way out then coming back loses impact. One of the current problems is that Reform has lurched so far to the right that they can't even see the left from there, and need to believe that everyone in the centre ground must be raving Marxists who all hate running their own businesses successfully. I suspect the looney lefties are mostly in the middle.
  6. Having suffered an abysmal season of horror at SMS, I have to admit that Saturday's edge-of-your-seat late turnaround victory against a thoroughly-dislikable Wrexham side who brought their own ref, was still no fun at all. They could have been five goals up before we had a shot, then I was saddened when prolific diver Moore was injured by a block tackle, I was disappointed when Manning came on, and it was clear that the better side lost. Yes, technically we got three points, but the silence of the home crowd told the real story, we're papering over the cracks of a relegation battle, I found the whole escapade depressing and as it's clearly just the start of another season of crushing misery that will be worse than the last, it's very difficult to enjoy anything. Though the grass looked nice - until they watered it. 😡 #doomandgloom
  7. Nah. Why would I? Fuckwits on e-scooters and gap years, vandalising shit... Do you support the government cracking down on peaceful protest? Do you still believe that Israel is entitled to do whatever it takes in the name of self-defence, including murdering thousands of medical staff and 200 journalists, to facilitate and attempt to hide their ethnic-cleansing of Gaza?
  8. Arresting peaceful demonstrators is a horrendous look for any government. And the Met as a brand has been fucked for decades. But, but they're not elderly peace campaigners, they're all terrorist hate marchers....said no sane person ever.
  9. That ref was a clown, look at me, I want to be part of the fairytale on Netflix, have another free-kick... Totally inconsistent, as for Moore, really weak for a big guy, falls over a lot. Felt really sorry for him when he got injured but got over it surprisingly quickly. Great ending to a difficult game - savour these moments.
  10. When Rupert Lowe sees Lammy stood there next to the water he's going to explode with rage.

The IDF have shown scant disregard for hostage welfare from day one, I'm not even sure if the government ever had any intention of rescuing many, their actions have done nothing to suggest that those victims were in their thoughts. For a while now it's just been brutal war crimes, real estate planning, forced starvation and displacement, dismantling of health services, new business for the US, and ethnic cleansing - all dressed up in the tiny inadequate flak jacket of self-defence. Once the leader has faced his delayed corruption trial, history will judge this Israeli administration.

If you're going to live in a new house on the beach in Gaza, don't be surprised if you have unwelcome visitors for the next fifty or a hundred years. The kids that are crawling out of the rubble today will be around to see you at some point. Things they won't mention in the sales brochure.
  13. Has AI developed enough to identify irony and sarcasm? If so, it's overtaken 75% of the human race already and we're all fucked.
  14. Sadly a precedent was established in the last parliament and you have up to 14 years to still blame the previous administration. It's ridiculous, just as it was then, but that's what Tories did in 2024, so it would be churlish to change that now it doesn't suit your agenda. Perhaps lobby the government to revisit that policy and reduce the timescale?
  15. And it gets a vote.
  16. Yes, that little hottie, a new poster girl for Reform - a ring on her finger and an XXXL tag on her ankle. Some poor bloke must regret letting that one get away.
  17. Interesting to hear one of the convicted Southport rioters admit that she was stupid to be taken in by all the fabricated stories, some of which were promoted by GB News' finest for personal gain.
  18. It’s really difficult to curate in order but here’s ten bangers that have all been soundtracks to my life - not much modern stuff, mainly classics from the golden era of rock - if you don't know some of these, check them out on Google, you won't be disappointed. Yodel Blues by The Petersens – any contemporary rock band that fuses yodeling with country has to be on any playlist. Crazy Frog, Tricky, beautiful lyrics and melodies. Gary Glitter – I’m the Leader of the Gang, doesn’t get the recognition these days, reminds me of scoutcamp and those nights by the fire, milking goats while blindfolded, I can still hear them grunting. Copocabana – Manilow is the governor when it comes to gritty storytelling, this one has a bit of everything, always makes me cry. Grandad by Clive Dunne with it's epic driving bass drum - Dunne was a vastly underrated soul singer, did sessions with Aretha Franklin back in the 60s. Stripped, Raped and Strangled by Cannibal Corpse (radio edit), a lovely ballad that suffered from lack of airplay. Jingle Bells by The Singing Dogs - a yuletide classic, great harmonies and arrangement. Check out the 12-inch Vince Clarke remix for the best dance version. There was a proper band that knew how to damage a hotel room, and pavements. Atmosphere by Russ Abbot, a lyrically-driven Gothic classic, Bauhaus meets The Sisters. Minuetto Allegretto by The Wombles, it’s their Bohemian Rhapsody, rock meets opera, it’s emotional, it reminds me of a girl I was going out with back then, she was a unit, and quite furry. This song makes me want to pick up the dirtiest thing on the street - to recycle. The Day We Went To Bangor by Fiddler’s Dram – a festival anthem by the band the Wurzels could have been, great driving song and what a bass line, this song was always a big moment at every rave in 89. I can see lasers, I feel thirsty.

Do you think they've had some mission creep on that worthy aim and gone a little bit too war-crimey?
  20. War chest? Have you been reading The plucky blue army battling at fortress fratton News again - it's a fucking biscuit tin.
  21. Liam has always been a total twat, but it now emerges that he and Noel have a brother who is even worse.
  22. Spain were definitely the better side - right up until the moment when they weren't.
  23. What a great night, that team has got more fight than an Oasis soundcheck. Nice to see some proper winners in England shirts.
  24. Well I'm staggered to discover that someone from Reform would make up a load of old crap, purely to stir up hate in an attempt to harvest votes from the ill-informed. Making up shit for personal gain would be a massive change of direction for Nigel Farage, this is a shocking revelation.

Hopefully those who granted Israel a free pass to do what the fuck they want now see that the IDF have abused that trust. They've abandoned the hostages and gone on a mass killing spree. #warcriminals
