  1. Well, we did much better than I anticipated, even when it seemed (burnley) things had got too much for us from a tired legs point of view. Its basically in our hands now. A few tricky fixtures to negotiate but no major fixture problems from a grouped difficult games POV Some of the teams lower down may now be fighting harder, but realistically they may open up more and then effectively play into our hands. Am I allowed to get excited now ?
  2. We dont really need another CB tbh, we have four adequate ones, perhaps we could get a loan in for a few months but Yoshi is back soon so whats the point ? Im sure there is a youth player that could step up. Or Big Vic at the back. No point buying another as it causes issues when all are fit. If we are to spend now then we need a dependable striker, thats about it. As Bear said, any spare money try and tie down the stars, or more importantly get Ryan and Toby signed permanently
  3. I dont know, I dont think he is that sorta bloke but its Barca Hopefully they sack someone now and get De Boer in, if they put in a temporary manager ill get worried
  4. To anyone else ?! I dont think so, but the barca job is the big one out there, and he has catalan in his heart from his time there If offered, he'll go, and I wouldnt blame him
  5. Bit of both, perhaps, hard to judge though as often everything feels fine, if you go just too far then the scar tissue gives way as its more brittle then normal muscle, IE it doesnt stretch
  6. Takes a while to get over hamstring injuries, you need to get rid of the scar tissue or else it will just tear when you stretch too far. Shame, he could play in 2-4 weeks probably, 3-6 to be completely sure IMO
  7. How can anyone vote for Pellè after today ???
  8. Ive never been so completely happy to say I am wrong In a time that looked bleak the board have done what I think they couldnt to steer us out of the choppy waters, they have done brilliantly and Im so ****ing proud to be a saints fan Sorry to the board for doubting you, and Im giving some money to the saints foundation to apologise
  9. Excellent defensive display
  10. Losing patience with Pellè and his composure
  11. As its not being held upfront
  12. Koeman noticed the room Blind was getting, got Reed on. We need to stop them getting crosses in, one will find its mark
  13. I wouldnt, invites pressure, better to keep going, make them commit Refs useless
  14. Its always been a booking, dont really know why, slowing the game ? To stop the undershirt messages ? Still, he was reacting to someone in the crowd, some moron I expect
  15. Pellè very quiet today, just doesnt hold the ball up well enough. GOAL, great finish by Tadic, pellè shouldve hit the target though
  16. Lets hope we get some windy weather so you can afford a few more pairs TBH Im not a fan of these years kit, it looks and obviously is cheap, yet they still charge the earth for it
  17. Well there is no blame for them following the money, I just dispair that agencies are able to claim that sort of money for their service (they'll be getting something ontop of that wage too). Which means it is pretty obvious why the NHS is struggling in most services and losing money here there and everywhere. Its a long term fix aswell, all the time you depend on agencies/contractors you struggle to keep your own staff due to the wages elsewhere. This over-reliance is dangerous IMO. Its all well and good looking at your revenue and claiming cutting staff numbers helps cut that budget by removing commitments (holiday/sick etc) but whats the point if you are paying over the odds for an agency that innevitably you will be committed to anyway ? Nb - Im not an accountant
  18. This was my thinking And if true, shows just why the NHS is struggling. The more I hear of businesses being run by accountants the more I despair, they seem to just be interested in the bottom line of certain budgets and completely oblivious to anything based in reality
  19. Yup, exactly the same in my chosen profession. I am litterally on the edge of staying and going. I have never been a person obsessed with money, I earn a good living, live in a nice house in Fair Oak and have a healthy balance between work and social life. The problem is the same contractors that I am told I have to use are now offering me double my salary (before the overtime they cream in) to make the jump. Like you say, the flip side is apparantly less benefits and guarantees, except they get the same holidays, car schemes etc amd I have been told by senior management (when complaining we need to gain control back) that contractors are here to stay and we are too reliant. Madness
  20. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2902821/Killers-betray-Islam-Muslims-driven-wilfully-perverted-misinterpretation-faith-says-academic.html Not that I read the mail
  21. Lets not forget the exclusive that never was (it was) when they all should just be practising their autoqueing
  22. Lets be honest its no worse then the drum you were banging in the summer on the main board. He hasnt said anything that bad. Its a forum, different opinions everywhere
  23. I dont know, I dont watch the german news. Saying that what is happening in France is getting too much coverage is frankly rediculous. What is happening in the UK that is remotely compareable in terms of importance or shock ?
  24. From now on I think we should label players from F-A+ With Ronaldo being A+
  25. Sums up my point nicely An excellent piece
