This But he isnt at the same level as Vic or Morgan, which begs the question, does HE want to sign a new contract ? As I can obviously understand why WE would want him to. The only question would be whether Reed is making noises about wanting more playing time, and so having to accomodate all of our excellent options. That could create a bit of a situation for Koeman, not necessarily the worst of situations granted.

Im not biased, he has been an excellent player for us, its only in your head that you believe that means Ive labelled him at the same level as Costa and RVP. RVP and Costa are on my Brilliant list, which is one above my Excellent, Excellent list that holds Pellè, Benteke and Bony, under that is Excellent which includes Lambert last year So on etc Its a shame you get so hung up on vocabulary when its obvious that its the 'not being a complete bellend' is the part of your posts you need to work on.

Like who ? Only really Scholes was at his level in CM. Lets not get into another Gerrard/Lampard/Scholes arguement, its been done to death. What I will say is its an absolute England travesty that with those 3 atleast the managers we have had were unable to do anything better than some blood and guts abject performances.

He could still be utilised in the prem. He is still in the top 3 assist list this season and squawka had him as one of the best CM last year. Rodgers is doing to him what hodgson did at the world cup which is to basically expose his ageing legs. We desperately needed to employ a 3 man midfield in the WC (like he did when lampard played) and even for Liverpool he is often played as the defensive midfielder. His passing is still as good as anyones, but he just cant get around a top level pitch the same. BR should of taken a leaf out of Pellegrini and Mourinho's Lampard book and used him sparringly, up the pitch in a populated midfield.

It is good there, or Casa Brasil, all you can eat meat, also good. You'll have to get out of the centre of town for a decent takeaway chippy.

Thanks bear, that will be a weight off my shoulders. There comes a crossroad in every forumers life that you need to assess your future. Having put in the effort my posting legs have largely gone. Only achieving sporadic posts with never the effort to write anything over 3 paragraphs or to check spelling at any level. Do we have an MLS equivalent ? I feel I need to move on to the reject league.. The ugly if you will, perhaps I could do a Lampard and be loaned back.. Who knows

Its pretty dissapointing not coming in the top 3 for sense and knowledge, but its made all the worst coming in at the same level as MLG, I prayed Id finish better, and alas my prayers went unanswered. I think this means I kill kids or something

Having been watching him he is technically starting to connect better, there were points when he was snatching very badly throughout december, in desperation for a goal. His general play for a target man is very much up there with the likes of the other two. His touch is exquisite and he has good feet. He lacks any real pace (but is quicker than lambert was) which is something that cant be worked on, but a bit more composure and he could be top class.
