  1. Yeah but something about not having VAR is refreshing etc
  2. Our final ball is terrible
  3. Arma is trying to run in behind every time, and that means we don’t have enough passing options infront of their backline, its a problem imo
  4. Good move for Tella but Id be hugely dissapointed for anythibg under 20m
  5. De Zerbi ? He’s probably one high level sacking away from being poached tbh
  6. Yeah but they have a lot more consistency than us, we didn’t really have a committed owner… as much as Kat was comfortable sustaining Marcus’ legacy she didn’t really put a great deal of effort into enhancing it Also as much as everyone hated Les Reed I genuinely think Krueger was the bigger issue, it created an odd power dynamic within which there was no obvious person taking the lead, both wanted the responsibility without accountability However Brighton have done an exceptional job, they’ve also stood firm on player prices, which has helped reduce risk financially but I do honestly think they’re probably at their glass cieling now
  7. It’s unsustainable for any club not backed by a multi billionaire unfortunately
  8. I was talking to a mate tgats a Brentford fan the other day.. and for me its always easier replacing if you’re in the lower levels of the prem, but now, both them and Brighton are trying to stay in the top half, so they’re shopping in a different league, and the amount of ‘good’ players reduce significantly You’re exactly right, like us the issue is, like the Caicedo fee for example… they may sign 3/4 players but if 2 of them don’t work out its a downward trajectory
  9. Che has traveled So hopefully he starts
  10. We’ll see this today I think, RMs comments to me sounded like Che won’t be available, no inside knowledge from me unfortunately but I ‘don’t’ think he’ll be around today… shame really, if he is available then Id start Che at 9 and play Arma off the left instead of Edozie as I think his runs are harder to track from there, especially if Che is being a nuisance The midfield is potentially an issue… neither Armstrong of Alcaraz track so Shea will be busy today, Stu won’t have 90 in him either, so expect an Aribo appearance around 70.. probably even worse at tracking Overall Im confident, Plymouth aren’t as good in the transition as Norwich but they do have pace up top and so we’ll need to be careful of balls over the top A Saints 2-1 win for me, Alcaraz and Arma
  11. Who exactly have we sold at the first sign of interest exactly?
  12. Yeah agree, I think we needed a CB in before now, we know ABK is off and Lyanco isn’t up to it
  13. Two things - I don’t believe he has any information of any significance - It will delend on our response really, not sure there has ever been a club that hasn’t lost its best players when they got relegated, depends on replacements and so far I think they’ve been sound
  14. I mean it depends where you set the line ? But yes ok if it suits we’ve lost 5
  15. I do
  16. Pilchards doesn’t really know anything, of that Im confident
  17. Bournemouth lost 7 first team players, including Ramsdale, Wilson, Fraser and Ake… or basically anybody any good… nobody wanted Solanke because he was shite, if West Ham buy him for 40m more for them.. he’s still crap Pukki you could argue if you wanted to but again they lost 6 first team players that year, better players than Pukki Mitrovic ? Fulham lost 9 players during that relegation, 7 of them first 11 players, Mitrovic had scored 3 goals Frankly… anybody who didn’t think we’d lose our best players are at best deluded
  18. I think we’ll lose Sulemana and ABK… possibly Adams I can’t judge the impact of those outgoings until we see the replacements, but as it stands they’re still here
  19. I must have missed the bit where we’ve lost Sulemana, ABK, Adams, Tella and KWP.. the twitter admin is doing a terrific job keeping those departures under wraps
  20. I genuinely cannot believe somebody put Solanke on that list… solanke… I expect he’s as surprised as anybody that he managed to score 29 fucking goals in the Champ
  21. Ivd just gone back through anyway… its a fucking fallacy that relegated clubs don’t lose their best players 22/23 Burnley lost 7 starters including their best forward player and an entire back line Watford lost 9 Norwich lost 6 but then they were fucking awful Edit - We’ve lost 3 starters btw.. 4 if you include Salisu.. I imagine that will end up at around 6 maybe 7… so entirely in keeping with most relegated outfits that have squads of capable players
  22. Because he probably isn’t worth 15m+
  23. How is it ? We lost 2 players to Top 6 teams and 1 we allowed leave due to his service, Id rather we kept JWP but apparently the agreement pre dates relegation Outside of that who are we against selling ? Diallo ? Orsic ? DCC ? Even Salisu people wanted gone Its hardly unprecedented Leicester lost 5 starters Leeds lost 7 are about to lose another Where is this bullshit ‘unprecedented’ crap coming from ? Im concerned about a lack of depth at CB but thats it really, so long as Downes comes in.. the Smallbone injury shows we might need 1 more and RM has stated he thinks the same Genuinely the absolute state of panic on here today is a bit pathetic, us and Leicester have comfortably the best 11s in the league and we currently have better depth, as well as the club literally stating in the fans forum and presser we’re probably looking at more than 3 incomings The responses today are dramatic at best
  24. We don’t, but if someone if offering 15m for a player out of contract next year, or 15-18m for Tella… we’ll probably sell.. its not rocket science is it ?
  25. Got any more unbelievable nuggets of wisdom……
