The daily mail very well does sensationalise stories, all papers do it is the nature of any journalist economy unfortunately. But there are many people out there who will feel drawn to this hatred as it gives them someone to blame, easy targets yes maybe. But the government as a hole needs to, at the very least, stop immigration of those that are here just to 'cure' themselves or claim other benefits. From immigration point of view too I work with a couple of v experienced and knowledgeable engineers, we have a real skills shortage in my industry ATM and without them we would be cery few. We never needed two we needed one, and before the season kicked off I dont remember many asking for a replacement for the team of the year Kelvin Davis. In fact I remember he was afforded a lot of defence in his first couple of games. Also for the arguement earlier about it taking 10 games to sort out the defence I would say a large percentage of the cause was the tactics, lack of cork and possibly coaching based. Yoshi and Fonte proved themselves to be very adequate. In fact previous to the start of the season it was actually Fonte most thought would not step up. I dont think anyone is ignoring the fact that our own house is in a complete mess and yes the majority of our problems we face as a country is to do with the rediculous way we support people for doing f*ck all or overstretching themselves, personally as a side point I dont think people should get any extra help for more then two children, we live in a country with free contraception, more than two should be a choice that you as the parents need to justify... I am not against immigration per se, I work with a guy from the czech republic, couple of poles etc in a very high level field (3 years plus training/ degree education etc) I think we need to limit the influx to a point where we allow immigration if it is to fill jobs for which we have a lack of expertise but stop it for jobs such as labouring etc We are already overstretched massively and our benefits system is already bloated to bursting. Lets face it, this is the real reason our immigration levels are so high, because of the NHS and benefits. Id like to see that people need to have contributed a significant amount in income tax before they become able to claim in order to keep things in check. Obviously the liberals will tell me I have no compassion to my fellow man etc but in reality it is us that will suffer

I remember Stu's final downfall, it was brilliant. He got himself all wrapped up in the installment system and tried to do a bit of maths. Remember when he was consistantly proven wrong he would either ignore you or go off on one. He seemed pretty harmless though, apart from the hardman image he tried to pull off.
