Young maybe, but JWP seems to me like a young Wilshere, technical yet snappy and happy to get stuck in, slight of frame yet tenacious and seems to have a maturity in the middle above his age. I think we have missed his presence in the middle TBH. I would rather see three CM but he would certainly be one of them. Why has he dropped out of the side ? No idea, supposedly to allow Adkins to play his gung ho approach

Hmm WBA worked for each other, and had adequate protection for the back four, Mulumbu was very good I thought, he was everywhere, very impressed as not only was he imposing and good in the tackle but had good feet and a decent pass. We looked the opposite, not really working for each other and seemingly shying away from the ball instead of wanting it, a sign that we are low on confidence. It certainly didnt help that we play so open either, we looked more solid with 3 in the middle and but conceeded from set pieces back then. Playing 4 attacking players is suicide TBH

I notice that the who is on ignore thread was banned, great stuff. This made me begin wondering, first of course that bear was banned, I had a moment, then realised he was still here, great stuff. Do you reckon however if we put the mods on ignore, we wont be able to see infractions or ban our threads n stuff ? Great stuff

And he really doesnt interfere in team selection or tactics, youll just have to trust me on that one, as for transfers etc I just dont know. But he was happy to spunk 30mil so he gave us a chance. Whoevers at fault for a lack of decent defenders needs a slap I agree, but TBH Adkins could slways not play so very open

I agree I would much rather have a football man through and through IF he is in charge of finalising say first team players, but would you want someone like Barry Fry advising on sports science and setting up youth facilities ? None of us really know the ins and outs of Reeds job, not exactly anyways. Where we are at the moment I think he was the best we could have got and if the training ground is ever finished has done a decent job there. If he is directly involved in transfers though, and if the Don is as success concerned as is made out then Reed wont be here long anyway.

I am fully aware that the team isnt up to it, and nor are a vast majority of the players on the team sheet. That said IMHO adkins should be making a much better hash of it than he currently is, firstly by attempting to make us hard to beat and secondly by shielding both full backs who do struggle defensively. My point last night was it was far from Foxs worse game, Adam, Morgan, Davis and Gaston were all a long way poorer than him. Yet straight on lambasting a player who didnt realky deserve it. It wasnt so much the NEED to have a pop at one of our players but the sensational idea that some below average NPC players could do a better job ? Nobe of Sharp, Hammond or Harding would offer us any more than we have at the moment. Get a grip

Personally I think it depends who is really to blame, if Reed has more influence than a normal DOF (I dont believe this btw) then I believe that NC will swing the axe, if it is Adkins who cannot cope, an idea I find more likely then he should go Perhaps they should both go

I wish all of these so called journalists and the like what stop with the now obvious soundbites and back it up with some form of fact or reasonable opinion. Otherwise IMO its all crap
