This Though you can argue that Jose and AVB never had relevant playing experience but I would say the experience and studying that some of these sorts of coaches have put in is unbelievable.

Something I have been saying since 3rd game of the season. We conceded far too many from set pieces which says to me its not ALL down to personel, no they arent good enough but they are not an average of 3 goals a game bad. And TBH how Crosby can be an effective defensive coach when he has only been a coach 5 minutes and never played to that level ill never know.

I have said for a while its not the losing but the way we are losing now, we need to slow down this negative momentum, and as Turks said if we dont get a sizeable point haul from the next 8 games we are screwed. Seen him 13 times live, sensational. His early solo stuff was excellent, Stanley road and heavy soul etc but he seems to be trying to reinvent himself right now and Im really not a fan of some of his new stuff

It may have been a combination of a multitude of factors, we dont know where the blame lies, be it Reid, Adkins, Nicola, chief scout or just bad luck/targets not saying yes etc But I do agree, the transfer window as much as I was happy with clyne, J Rod, Gaston etc we were crying out for defenders and cocked it right up. We are now paying for it. BUT as happy as I was with signings, I did point out relying on youth in your first year in prem is utter madness.

True but right now you can only do what you can do, and change what you can change. For me thats Maya and not Jos and potentially TRY to sort out the LB position. We looked at CBs and LBs in the summer, for whatever reason it didnt happen, was it Adkins ? Reed ? Cortese ? We dont know, it could have been any of the above, I would have liked better options but would it have helped ? We dont know either. All I am saying is we could easily go out now and tap up some staff with A. Working knowledge of the prem and B. And decent defensive coaching background. Either that or try not to play so open in the knowledge our defence is so **** !! That said though we are getting hammered mainly down the wing or from set pieces.
