All this worrying about pre season games are massively over the top tbh, they ste friendlies for fitness and match sharpness. But I agree with this re pricing

Good youthfull signing yes, but potential to keep us in the prem ? Im worried. Love how i have gone from happy slapper to negative in 3 posts though, good consistency there eh ? Your certainly not alone, I am indeed an optimist, however even I struggle to be completely filled with optimism when our first season in prem is met by the signing of unproven youthful prospects.

Yeah, Im gonna go ahead and pre write my Alpine is a negative thread. Considering you have been consistantly wrong on the subject im sure the bookies wouldnt even take bets on the subject any more. He is definately a better manager than many give credit, but I honestly think he has work to do. I really really doubt they have spent 6-7 million tbh, not from what I have heard from people ITK anyways, Maiga was no more than 2-3 million I believe and Collins although unknown was thought to be quite a snip of a transfer. Diame and Jaaskalainen were released from poor sides to, not to mention Nolans injury, Diame is supposedly injured and Tomkins was shown up to be poor in the olympics but then I wasnt amazed by him in the CCC. As per the supposed big deals Im not tge only one that believes its all just to appease the fans, I mean Tevez, Torres etc ? How many of those deals happened ? Especially as Carroll was apparantly agreed, funny how that fell through ?! Sam is a decent manager but he has a lot of work to do overturning a poor playing style last year to one conducive of the prem, IMHO they wont finish above us

Exactly Chez, if we bring back powell, pair him with Davenport and provide a midfield dynamic anchorman in the mould of Wotton I can easily see us quickly forgetting even the slightest hint of relegation.

I really cant see WHU doing that well, they have no cash for transfers and play some god aweful football, I think we are lucky that Swansea, wigan, Norwich and West Brom will probably all struggle this year. Although I am optimistic we will escape, its not unrealistic to realise why so many predict we will drop, personally I am pleased with our signings, if not slightly worried they wont have the experience for a dog fight

Fletchers price is high but dont agree with you at all Adrian, hell have a good season this year, look at his goal scoring record over past seasons, V good in the air aswell. Will be a top top signing imo, if a little overpriced
