I like Harding, but IMO he is one of our weaker players, I also like Dickson, but ATM he isn't getting a game, he may be kept on as cover for the left flank but perhaps he will be sent out on loan, Mills is probably off. Fox is a good signing, further strengthening.

The police lost their power long ago, people question every attempt they have had in attempting to quell acts of disorder with force with questions and accusations. You only have to look at the Student protests to see what happens when they attempt to deal with anything. The past few nights they have done nothing but stand and watch, knowing that any show of force on their part would result in inquiries etc etc. When we started putting the rights of criminals over the safety of the general public we pretty much gave the green light for this to happen.

Its not so much planned Riots, its people looking at whats happened in London and other areas and thinking, 'Hang on a minute, they got to do what they wanted, lets see if we can get away from it' Its f*cking disgusting. He will be a brilliant player in the future, but this season Wenger had to spend on players that could do the business now. I can see them in the Europa league next year, not champions league.

Have to agree with Chezer. Problem was, in my mind Lowe made no attempt to ever improve our situation and we just slowly died.

He really is going to be a great great player, but after the comments and murmers he has been making to the press it just isn't worth keeping hold of a player that doesn't want to be here, what is fantastic however, if the fees bandied around are true, is how we have not been held over a barrell. We have got what we wanted, and Arsenal and Oxo have got theirs. IMHO he will be a better player that Walcott, and will probably end up as a full england international if he keeps on the right track, I wish he went to someone other than Arsenal though, I can see them wasting his talent. As for replacements, we already have De Ridder and Lallana, with Guly and Chappers able to play there, that said another winger won't hurt. I wonder if the signing of De Ridder took the pressure off and allowed us to sanction a deal ??

Never been that fussed about Howard as a player TBH. He is ok, but IMHO much happier with the signing of Cork. If we had signed Howard would we have signed Cork ?

Looked very fit and strong yesterday, in fact, wow, one pre-season with Adkins and he has done so well, playing a game like we played yesterday, hassling and chasing the ball down really does drain you as a player, but we did it so well and kept it up for the whole game, rarely did you see a player struggling. Mentioned a few times how fit, strong and up for it we looked. But back to Hammond, I got it wrong, he had a great game yesterday. What a Midfield we have.

My money is on the Theory we will sell more. We have not had any games this season, we have had pre-season (fitness) friendlies, but I must admit I never realised they contributed to end of season standings other than being a run out. PRAT
