I expect he was reported by some sad, pompous arse. I don't really see why he is banned again, he is hardly offensive, if anything he has a bit of a sense of humour, something clearly lacking from many of the mongs on here. If you don't like him put him on ignore not just report him

Then what are we left with exactly ?? We already have the stand out striker of the past 2-3 seasons in league 1, we also released the current top scorer and i don't know too many football savvy saints fans that would want him back. Also, especially in January i can't see many NPC strikers looking to come down a league to Saints. So the likes of Austin and Le Fondre are what we have left, and IMO worth a punt.

TBF, there is only really one pompous arse that i think i would have to lump if i ever had the unpleasentness to actually spend any time with him in the real world. The rest are alright, the odd mong here and there but no one that really bothers me too much.

If you were a police officer, after 2 violent protests that have been very widely publicised. After seeing other police officers carted off injured and a group in the baying mob throwing missles, attempting to break into the treasury and everything else would you not be a little worried even scared ? And would you not perhaps be trying to keep the pack at bay from you ?? Who do you think the police are ? Robots ? I see you didn't respond to my last post when i said that. These are human beings who were obviously intimidated, and as i said, if they didn't attempt to stamp control on things it could have been really really nasty, god knows what would have happened if a lone police officer slipped and became isolated in the mob.

I think we will be ok, and think we will be promoted, so long as we don't have a completely disasterous December which i think COULD be on the cards if we are not careful. That said, if we fail in a promotion charge this year then i will be completely with Cortese for sacking Adkins, as much as i like him. Staying in this league another season would be a disaster and as i said at the start of the season whoever was managing this year will be judged purely on getting us out of this sh*tty league and in many respects even the playoffs will be a dissapointment.

I am pretty sure English clubs are unable to even speak about contracts until the contract has actually ended (not the same with over seas players) That said, i don't expect it would be the first time.

I thought Adkins has been doing ok up until now, but TBF yesterday was a complete farce. I notice however that everyone has failed to mention the fact that we had Fonte, Chaplow, Barnard and Richardson missing who are easily first 11 players. You then only had to look at the bench to realise how bad our injury crisis/lack of depth actually is. We were crap yesterday but lets not ask for his head just yet eh ?

TBF Cortese said we will not spend for the sake of it, which IMO is a whole lot different to saying we will try to get away with not spending anything. Whats the point of buying players that are not going to improve the team ? Its just a waste of cash and will only result in many a mong on here eventually bemoaning us making the signing in the first place. He is going to try to get players in, but if they don't want to come what can you do ? I will be very very surprised if we make no signings.

He is not even jumping for the ball, nor getting himself in any goalscoring positions. We need a new striker in Jan, for the moment we just have nobody to replace him.

Once again, if you are earning 22k a year you pay back 90 pa, and only when you earn 150K you pay back 11.5k. Hardly ensuring that only the rich can pay is it ?? I just don't see this as a valid arguement.
