I would rather have Papa and Antonio than Walcott, Bale, Keane and Torres -

Complete and utter tosh. Anyone who actually had a basic grasp of football in general and didn't just enjoy the sledging he got from the sidelines could see that although the vocal majority was calling for his head (not the first time they got things universally wrong) he certainly wasn't sh*t by any stretch of the imagination. I don't think he was quite as accomplished as he was last season but as far as i could see a lot of his dallying on the ball was because there was nobody around him providing him with a pass and so he often was tackled or he had to try and manufacture something. Strange though as if this happens when Lallana was on the ball it is obviously the players around hims fault. I expect he will now move on and do well and we will all bemoan his loss and wonder why he has gone eslewhere and is doing better. I mean what other sh*te players have the Northam darlings turned on ?? Oakley ? Svensson ? Davis ? Fuller ? Ormarod ? Lol As for Lambert, yes last season he has a proven track record but i would hold no player in the team just on merit, the fact is he is/was not pulling his substantial weight when needed and looks pretty toothless in front of goal. Also if you are saying play him because of what he did last year Puncheon waded in with goals and assists. But hey ho, seeing as we need a scapegoat we may aswell chuck him on the ex saints scrapheap of useless players along with Schneiderlin. -
If they are found to have been involved in widespread scandal and i really believe that they will be if a full and independant investigation is brought against them that IMO will only be possible if each and every country (or atleast the wide majority) gets involved and attempts to drive out the rotten core that is FIFA currently. But if they are found to be involved in such scandal i would like to see ourselves and all the major countries that have been wronged by them, and in that i mean holland/belgium, spain/portugal and every other nation involved in the 2022 bid refuse to take part in any FIFA organised tournaments until the old boys club is disbanded and the organisation is headed up by people that have football at heart and with greater transparency. If they are not all fat cats and out to make quick bucks and backhanders than how can anyone explain the fact that the whole choice of WC hosts was made predominantly by woeing the 22 ExCo representatives into voting for your nation ??

Chamberlains father has already said in an interview somewhere (can't remember where) that he is not going to let his son move too early and feels the best place for him ATM is at Southampton. Also, anyone who says Walcott is not reaching potential is clearly a bit mental, he was more or less a regular in our WC qualification and probably still would be if he wasn't so injury prone. Whenever the lad plays a consitant run of games he looks a very good player indeed. Chambo is not as good as Walcott is yet, i still think tactically and as far as a footballing brain is concerned he has a better one but he is not as quick and never will be (pace being a very very attractive commodity in the top level nowadays). He is also only playing against League 1 teams and is not consitantly looking like a world beater nor is picking up MOM awards left right and center. Should we keep him ? Of course we should and of course he will improve but ATM i wouldn't say he is in Walcotts bracket, could he be ? Possibly he is direct, strong and technically looks pretty good but as quick as he is he doesn't have that searing pace that Walcott had and that is what set the lad apart from EVERYONE else back then.

He wouldn't get anywhere near our bench TBH. He just wouldn't cut it in league 1. I think we would be far better off saving his 70k a week wages to build up a package for Antonio, i think 100m and 150k a week would suffice and a relative bargain considering him alone will win us a champions league in a few years time.

If he is a bad element at the club then so be it we should get the best price possible and look for an adequate replacement. It doesn't however make him an utterly sh*t player as that is just not true. -
Shut up you S_S wanna be pr*ck

Then they stick through thick and thin to an underperforming lump of a striker who is not really showing signs of improvement. -
He is too busy on his new site i think

That is the game of a winger i am afraid Rally. Bale had a torrid time against Everton, as did Ronaldo a few times when he was at Man Utd. Does it make them bad players ? No. As a winger you are either on top or not, it is not hiding it just shows the full back has had a better time of it. -

I rate Puncheon, he has a better brain and technique then the majority of our players and certainly didn't get enough change from our underperforming strikers. As usual the Northam need someone to blame and turn on a player who is lacking confidence. On another note in regards to beating players, i did see him beating players, working hard and he had a good touch. One thing to remember is that he if he were to get to the byeline due to him playing as an inside forward and so on his wrong side (in regards his strongest foot) he would then have to attempt to cross on his weak side. This added to the fact that really and truelly any experienced full back that come across a winger that beats him in 4/5 1on1's is having a sh*te game. I am not surprised Puncheon is playing well for Millwall after all it is his level, i'd like to say i am surprised with the majority missing his obvious talents but honestly i am not. -
Bale has been the best player of recent times to leave saints, but you could see he had it from the very very start IMO. Walcott was another top top young player and to top it off he has so much pace to burn, is Ox as good as Walcott was at his age ? I don't know really, some times i think so some times i don't, IMO i think Ox has a better brain then Walcott has at his age but doesn't have the same pace to burn and you have to remember he is playing against lesser opposition in league 1. Still, i don't really want to be losing any of our young gems unless we have to any more.

By overtime i mean standby TBH. We aren't allowed overtime unless in extreme cases, and TBF i think your right i don't think i am not actually allowed to claim 'overtime' as i just get told 'its part of the job' I spent 2 years on reletive crappy money really. Then got a half decent rise and then the big one. Thats what technical apprenticeships get you, can't say enough good about them, sod running up a debt for a degree -

I got a 33.3 % payrise basic, before bonus and overtime. Thats what hard work gets you folks -
I got a similar amount of homework, TBF none of it was really that time consuming, the coursework was a different matter altogether though. They are just trying to better educate the children, otherwise you could end up as some sort of rent a quote geriatric nazi with a alcohol problem, or one of the forum grammar police.
