If you want, but a headset will do

No, a proper console

Its not really older TBF, the ps3 has hardly changed where as the xbox has been largely updated in order to keep up with the ps3. Are you telling me that the one they are comparing is the same xbox that was released first time over ?? Without HD, without wireless etc etc

We were pretty uninspriring before and stumbled to a 4-0 win somehow, unfortunately we have been pretty uninspiring since, albeit that Adkins has managed to get us picking up points regardless of looking numb infront of goal. We need someone on scoring form and soon or else we will be left behind. -
Hard to argue about the fact that he was tracking back and defending a lot more. Just didn't seem anywhere near as potent attacking, which really is what he was on the pitch to do. Its a shame though, as early season for me he looked more threatening than others, its just what was infront of him gave him no options. The Lambert opinion, yes i agree with, he has been completely useless and a shadow of a shadow of last year, the times i have seen him him barely even jumps, just tries to nudge players off balance to win headers, and even when he does they are aimless. I don't know if he is injured or what but it is pretty clear he is out of confidence as he doesn't seem to want the ball, especially in any threatening positions. Its a bit of a null point anyways, the Puncheon one that is, as it doesn't matter if he was our best player, he doesn't want to be here and has made that perfectly obvious.

Its you isn't it ?
-
Yes, as it can be seen as bringing the company in disrepute. I expect he has also lost the respect of a lot of the other orderlies as well. Did the night staff let you know about he little escapades over drug time ?
-
You never saw him track back then ?? Really ? Are there any players over the last year or so you have actually liked ?

Charlton Weather Watch/Build Up - game called off! (Dejavu?)

what would you like them to say ? -
Some games are single console. Basically no, the guys i know that have both are still living with mum and dad and have mates that have either an xbox or ps3 so have both so they can play both. Waste of cash IMO.

??? I don't have a headset and i still hear everyone talking, its whether or not you want to buy a bluetooth headset and chat back is up to you. If all you pay for is a better quality of gamer (which i completely refute BTW) then is it really worth it ?? I personally don't see any difference in online gameplay at all, other than the fact that you have to pay for one of them. Personally weighing everything all up the PS3 is the more powerful overall product and has more to it than just a gaming console, it is pretty much a media server that is also an incredibly powerful games console as well. You also don't have to pay for any extras, something that you will need to in time. Equally there is the Blu ray arguement, you could buy an xbox AND a bespoke blu ray player but thats just farking madness, why would you ? The Xbox kinect is a nifty bit of kit but TBF i got taken in by the whole Wii experience and have hardly ever played it so i can't see this being any different. Basically, all round PS3 is the winner, the 'cheaper' arguement is a little bit baseless as well as to get the top of the range xbox (which still lacks the blu ray drive but is just about on par in regards performance) it will set you back around £200, then you need to pay for the online etc etc and it is the same price, Microsoft have just marketed it well. Plus the controller is like handling a space station on the xbox.

This is true Though i nearly bought an xbox the other day just for Halo
-
I don't really get the whole 'xbox is better online arguement' They both provide an online service and shop. All you do is log in, set up the game and join people playing online ?? Explain to me exactly how it is £40 a year better ??
-
Everyone i know that has both prefers the ps3. Enough said

Charlton Weather Watch/Build Up - game called off! (Dejavu?)
Smirking_Saint replied to Nexstar's topic in The Saints
Hopefully called off, the boys need some rest. Perhaps Lambert can do some work infront of a 100 foot goal whilst he is waiting, he may even get 1 or 2. -
You can start threads

Same as the dual carriageway between the M27 and Bursledon tesco. I believe they are to force you to slow down as you don't know whats coming.

Welcome to the real world

Thank you Buctootim. Glad i am not the only one lol

Does the ill timing of the sacking suggest that in fact something did come to a head, somewhere, somehow ?? Its not really too difficult to work out, plus NC can be ruthless if it is his will, we all know that. Add this to the fact that he has been primarilly a business man for a long time, you don't 'release' your top man at a time that is not beneficial just because you don't get on with him. If it was planned we would have had someone lined up. I for one would rather it happened earlier and before pre-season but it didn't. Think about it WC, your not stupid.
-
There was no affair. By all accounts Pardew was a bit of a bellend however and yes, we are better off without him.
-
Which basically is exactly my point, we have arguably 2 of the best strikers in the division, an experienced striker who has played at a higher level and is argued (not by me) is better than Barnard and Lambert and another player who should be playing Seria A football. None of which are able to put the ball away at any real regularity this year. Its also worth noting that the equally worse Guly has scored more in open play this year than our out of sorts talisman.
-
We are carrying a large amount of injuries ATM though, but yeah, IMO it should do us a favour, in fact i said to the guys at work last week that i was hoping Walsall was called off so that we could get some players fit again. Perhaps it will do us a favour, but you also have to factor in the fact that breaking down teams that park the bus expends a lot of energy and so seeing as we are the ones likely to be going for the win our game plan will always be more difficult then the noddy teams.
