4-5-1 please guys. Adam, more of the same. Comfortable win i think, but i wouldn't bet on a clean sheet. 3-1 again. Lallana, Spiderman, Lambert
-
Alpine and NC do bring something to the forum though, opinions. What would be the point if we all agreed ?? And now NC has stopped baiting everyone i find his posts pretty interesting.
-
Meh, Not that bad, i would say it is more their fault leaving it unsecured TBH.
-
Not really, the fact that you said made us look like chimps, in my mind and clearly every one elses that came across as them battering us. Perhaps if you didn't type wishy washy b*llocks we could all understand what you mean better ?? Yeah of course you win games by scoring goals, but even the very best get unlucky at time to time. Try looking at football over the course of a season mate, if you are in control of possession, have more shots on, more corners etc, then you will win a damn site more than you lose. Christ, teams nick wins all the time, it happens, get over this complex you have.
-
Oh right, yeah, i see the point, sorry didn't realise thats what you were argueing. Well ok, but i would have still regarded the old squad as a mid-table squad tbh.
-
Well i suppose it is ok if you win a further 30-60% of your income ?? I play alot of online Poker, restrict myself to £20 a month but don't usually need to, getting quite good at it, normally allows me to have an extra 100ish to play with.

TBH i don't think you can really tell the difference. 1080p is supposedly the big daddy *****il they release the next installment of HD, 3D, 4D or whatever) and is apparantly the better picture. As has been said it is all about the way the picture is displayed on the screen. TBF though, i can't see a massive difference between a standard image and a HD one, yeah it is a lot sharper but TBH it is not 300-400 quid a pop better off. You are better off looking in the which best buy magazine and just plumping for the best option IMO.
-
TBF i disagree with this. As far as our squad is concerned i think we are well up there, at least in the top 2 or 3. Leeds probably have the best squad, especially with the new loans they have just aquired. When you look at the team we have options everywhere, and decent back up. Even Wotton and Thomas seem to do a job when called upon. In that instance then yeah, i believe we have a decent squad. With the relegation zone confidence zapper out of the way i think we can have a very bright second half of the season. As for Delldays and Glasgow, i can't see the fact that many look at our JPT run as a priority as negative, we are looking strong and steady and can make Wembley and perhaps even silverware (i know it does not mean much). I assume you won't be taking up a ticket if we make it then ??

F*ck project work, i have done enough. I am off to the driving range.

Is it easy commenting on the game in the snowy mountains then ?? We finished poorly against Leyton that is all, we dominated the game. FFS, even against Brighton we at times seemed unstoppable, we just could not find a decent final ball, finish.
-
We played 4-4-2 against Brighton, and they basically raised their game 100% against us. New manager too, plus small rivalry involved. They go their tactics spot on, in my eyes the main reasons we lost were poor final ball (except for young Lloyd who's crossing was very good) and also Lambert could not win anything that night. We just didn't seem able to change our tactics, nothing on the deck just all hoof ball. Against the 'Dons we were able to mix it up and bit, as we did against Charlton a few nights before, but we failed against Brighton. It was an off game IMO. As for Connelly, if the 4-5-1 is working, which it was, then don't change it, if it leaves Connelly on the bench so be it. If i was a manager i would work with the philosophy of tactics first and players to fit in, not the other way around.
-
No, we are not a big club in this competition. Part of the reason that i would like to see us concentrating on the league, and to a lesser extend the JPT where we are a big club. Nethertheless i would say that smaller clubs would come to us as a decent day out and raising their game as we were previously a big boy in the footballing world.
-
I expect they will get battered, i may put out my second string side as i have an important game this weekend. My brazillian striker will no doubt thump in a hattrick or two
-
Not if you make the money back, you could always try and rent it out if you get proper stuck. If you go down that route get in touch with the council, they usually pay a decent wedge for it. If you are that skint it was probably a bad idea buying it in the first place How much do you gamble a month then ??
-
Yeah, you get a bit of cash, you could buy some players with that. 4,760 is pretty damn good, i don't think i have any that good. edit - yes i have.
-
Yeah, you think LoL, it all just disappears into no where tbh. Dunno the place myself. What is it a one bed or two bed ?? Flat ??

2018 World Cup bid - Time for Saints to step in
Smirking_Saint replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Not only this but having the major civillian port in the UK also ?? Plus a major airport. If we are given the green light i think it is an easy answer. -
Cash Really, were do you drink now then ??? Obviously when you can afford to go out ?? Did you buy it then or rented ??

Alternate History - morbid reading for a monday!

IMO then yes, the germans would have pushed through. Half the reason that they had so many losses at their eastern front was because of the extreme winter and the fact that they were ill equiped. -
Ain't that near the shambles ?? Must be pretty soul destroying if it is, within stumbling distance but without the beer tokens ??
-
What league you in ?? Don't worry just looked, and challenged you. Dunno, really, about 1k for you in that league probably. I would concentrate on just building a decent team, worry about TSI and stuff latter. Also build up the stadium.
-
Sh*t ain't it ?? 'Coming out on the p*ss this week ??' 'Nah mate, i have ground rent to pay' Where you living then ??

Competition: My advice to Alan Pardew is ...
Smirking_Saint replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
GOAL : I think Bart will do ok so long as he keeps his confidence in check, i would however believe that AP is probably looking for a Loan here in case KD has set backs or Bart becomes shaky jake again. .... Perhaps a Loan signing DEFENCE : Keen to watch this space, obvious to me that the defensive part of the team needs work, Trotman became a little flappy for a while but i would expect him to come good. If not or if he is returning to PNE then i expect AP will look for a new aquisition here. ........ Perm or loan signing here, perhaps Ward but doubtful. MIDFIELD : I think we seem strong enough in an attacking sense here, but agreed we need to sign a decent defensive midfielder to cover the back four. ....Perhaps two signings in this position, one perm and one loan. Expect to see a DM come in. STRIKERS: Tricky one, provided that Saga moves on then yes i would imagine that we bring in another striker. Lambert and Lallana definately need cover in case they get injured however we do have Connolly and the young scot (forgot his name) so i don't expect any big moves here. ..... Perhaps a permanent signing of a youngster here, i think not much will happen without injuries. He may shock us with another decent striker to challenge. Part 2. I have not heard any rumours at all as of late. I can see pards moving for people in january, he also said about completing a loan signing before the window closes so i can see something happening soon, perhaps a keeper ??? I believe Saga will move on, Pulis will leave, and lancashire will extend his loan to the end of the season. Would be nice to extend Melis, Trotman (or perm) and antonion's loan deals to provide cover and competition. Thats my guess, it all depends on how tight ML keeps his purse strings, and whether AP feels a promotion push is justified.
