Hi guys, Just a quick one about energy suppliers. At the moment there is apparantly a company going around telling customers that the southern electricity distribution network owned by Scottish and Southern Energy has been bought out and so you have to change your meters and whatever company you are supplied with to theirs. This is not only illegal but complete tosh. Please please if anyone comes around and says this do not believe it, and also feel free to phone up Ofgem and report whomever has attempted this. Remember, your energy supplier is your choice and you will always will be free to choose, whomever owns the distribution rights.

Won the championship with Mame Birame Diouf setting the CCC alight. Just played a whole prem season and finished 16th, not good. However i had a job offer from the Manure heirarchy asking for me to be their manager, which i thought long and hard over but want to see how i can get saints to progress. Another bad season and i will be open to offers. If you guys can get him, sign Jo, i got him for 4 mil from city as he was not playing, the boy is unbelievable, also got krancjar, and wes brown. My biggest signing was Cattermole for 10 mil. Now i am concentrating on young guns -
Probably, i can't actually remember who it was :smt040

Oh no, don't get me wrong i quite like us playing 4-5-1 to start, it enables us to stiffle opposition and dominate the game, we then have the option of moving to 4-4-2 if this is not working but it will not work every time. My post was really because of a thread i think only last week moaning at 4-5-1 and wanting 4-4-2. Some of us are very fickle on this board
-
Completely agree with this 100% sense. Fail to see why people are moaning at James for providing what looked like very dangerous crosses when everyone else on the team were playing the ball for five minutes, running out of ideas and hoofing it towards lambert. Why oh why did we not notice that lambert was just not winning these hoof's ?? We looked far too one dimensional sunday.
-
You lot are having a f*cking laugh !!!!!!!! What happened to the 'oh no not 4-5-1' !!!! We need to play 4-4-2 ???? IMO the game against brighton was not the formation it was due to tired minds, legs and the fact that we just had an off game. Get a grip guys.
-
True, Harding looked lost and at times bloody aweful, IMO James was the best player in our back four and actually played a few decent final balls which is more than anyone else on the pitch did
-
I have only quickly read the thoughts on this thread. My thoughts are as follows. Seemed weak in midfield, defence failed to deal with anything that Brighton threw at us. Jaidi had a bit of a shocker as did harding. Young lloyd looks good going forward, some great crosses that NOBODY seemed to get on the end of properly. Far too many long balls up to Lambert, we just seemed to have no other ideas. Lallana had a bit of an off day. It was pretty terrible, although as others have said, second game that most of the team played in five days, nobody looked particularly good. I am not going to dwell on it, everyone has off days every now and again. We did control the games for long periods, we know we can score and know we can defend well. IMO 'tis a one off, in pardew we trust

I got saints promoted in first season, 2nd and only by goal difference. Leeds ran away with it. Amr Zaki dominated and Lallana also did very well. I had barazite on loan who i have now signed. Cheers MLG for the 48 months tip, it makes your transfer budget go a long way !!!!!!! Signed Faronetti, Hart, Mame Diouf (legend, Man Utd 3mil) Poulson, Shorey. All apart from Diouf around th mil mark. Currently top of championship and struggling to fight off attention for Zaki. -
Harry Redknapp admits he doesn't like David Bentley!

Cos he is probably the whiniest horrible little manc c*nt in football TBH -
He has spent near on 200mil on 77ish players. He just is unable to buy decent back ups

Ok, i only really coached players under the ages of about 8 back in the day, so luckily i never really had the problem of coaching confidence. It is a thing that comes and goes and depends not only on the pitch but everything else going on as well. Playing as a striker EVERYTHING comes down to confidence IMO, i would know as at times playing myself i had confidence problems. Some times the goals flowed and others not. It is extremely hard to get back into the swing of things and it is really something that just happens after a few good games. At least the manager has kept faith, i remember playing for the college, being top scorer and 'still' not starting matches which hurts your confidence. As for the nipper being 10 i would think he could get over it quick enough. Remind him of the likes of rooney (every young player loves rooney). A player that does not score hatfulls but gives his all in matches and is probably a player coveted by most if not all managers in the premiership. TBH though, my honest opinion is that at that age football shouldn't be made out to be uber-competetive. It should be a time when players fall in love with the game and a time for learning. I would have a word in his ear, don't tell the manager, but tell him to be a bit more greedy, after all he is a striker and goals breed confidence. Tell him if he is in a position to have a go, not to pass so much. Without seeing him play i can't say much more. The most important thing is to keep his love for the game up, i don't know, give him a few quid a goal or something, after a few goals he will love it again. Hope some of this helps.

Boat ???? On another note, unfortunately it doesn't matter how long you look at them, they don't slip out

I should have this by tommorow (all going well). Any big tips ??? Is Zaki really worth the money you spend on him ?? -
Lol Also the little girl sticking her finger up at Giggs as he took a corner. Lol

I have never said that we should sign him as back up, only that we should sign him for his future potential ?? So in your opinion all signings should be made in order to fit straight into the first 11 ?? The fact that you failed to see Lallana and Morgans obvious talents lead me to believe that perhaps you look at the wrong things, and miss the subtleties that some notice in the make up of future talents etc. On the flipside, there is nothing wrong with signing decent back up players, you only have to observe Liverpools obvious failings (their bench) to notice that they are not serious contenders, probably until Benitez leaves. You need adequate protection on the bench and also need differing dimensions and strategies, football management is a minefield and is also a reason why people saying Pardew should always play 4-4-2 are missing a trick. You cannot be a one trick pony, you need a plan a,b and c. As for mellis, he has only had a handful of games, he looked good, then went to england and came back poor however he is not a wide player IMO (but then nor is Lallana). He will be a great player, he needs nurturing and confidence, watch his Youtubes and you will see his obvious talents.
-
I don't think he meant ex-players etc can only comment but there are a lot of silly comments on here. A player can easily not be suited to a division, skill is one thing but certain leagues need other attributes and also you need to be used to playing against certain opponents. Mellis clearly has a future, he has good skill and a good touch, something i have championed before. Close control, good technique, decent touch etc is something only the very best have in abundance, very little attacking players can get away with a lack of it (part of the reason i was never massively impressed with beattie) But then these are the sort of posters, as i said before were quick to judge Lallana and Morgan.

How is it fixed ?? It was not pretty or spectacular, but Haye stuck to the only tactics that would win, get in, sting him and get out. This is a man that has never been off his feet (though how i don't know, Haye almost did it with what seemed like a glanced connection.....plus i had a 5er on Haye in the 12th, b*stard) so going toe to toe would never work. Valuev looked slow and unsteady, missed almost every swing and was a particularly unispiring boxer. He looked amateurish, Haye boxed the right way against him, no he was not attackingly dominant but was the better boxer, and on that evidence, why should he not have won ??

Unfortunately there are enough people that watch this inane drivel on the tellybox that results in her getting air time. Even though she is an odious, pathetic, self centered, smear test of a human being. However, IMO, fortunately half the reason that she is getting air time at the mo is because she is now managing to piece by piece tear apart the fan base she some how managed to scrabble together. Don't get me wrong, the whole scenario annoys me but i have to watch as the missus does so something like this is normally on in the background. Fair play to Peter who seems a genuine guy, and doing the right things. Katie is a poisonous human being that has surrounded herself in the wrong people and being shown up as the c*nt she has always been. Fortunately the missus also hates her.

Was talking about this today, and got pretty confused about this. I was thinking...... If it WERE to come back in time to sabotage itself, it obviously has not managed it, or else there would be nothing to come back in time in order to sabotage itself ?? Unless, it did come back in time to sabotage itself and managed to do it, which resulted in a new time path within which we managed to create a different Higgs-bosun (not the original, as this has already sabotaged itself) which would then attempt to go back in time in order to sabotage itself ??? And so....... if managed.......... would then create a different................................ oh you get the idea. -
Fair play, think i need another op Not played for 3 months
-
Yeah, he has tried to wind him up. Makes me laugh as Valuev just sn*gered as if to say, 'wait and see d*ckhead'
-
I can agree with that, i struggle to figure out how your knowledge has come from though ?? Have you stolen the opinions of people that have played at a decent level then ??
