  1. Very well done saintandy, unfortunately though mate, past the first apprenticeship or first job you take will be the last time you ever have to mention GCSE's again, they really are f*cking pointless. I got 2 A's, 8 B's a C and a D at GCSE god knows how many years ago, and like Scott i found you just didn't need to try. Personally i think they should just start unacademic types on vocational studies
  2. Well, that may upset a few people at the box
  3. Lol One of my players went up by 22 points !!!!!! Get in there !! Nice tidy profit. Plus Milan will get a pasting tonight
  4. He's in the rainforest
  5. Yeah, i was out for around 9 months after my recon, though i didn't go all out to get fit, and then towards the end just wanted to make 100% sure i didn't do it again. But i agree, i blame blades
  6. He's at the shop !!!! Just noticed someone beat me to it
  7. Isn't it crazy just how many ACL injuries there are, have been over the past few years, surely more than ever before.
  8. Was that an SSE van ??
  9. LoL. Wait for the lefties to come storming to their aid, won't be long now
  10. Unfortunately, i think he will be immense in league 2, plus he has gone in as a player-coach and has said he wants to get into management. TBH, it is a stupid amount of money, but hell of a coup for Notts C
  11. lol
  12. Is there a wage cap in league 2 then ??
  13. I could name one, but then i do swap over, as a result of being such a stud ??
  14. The former Reading skipper was stretchered off the field and initial reports point to serious knee ligament damage that could spell a lengthy lay-off. From the OS Does not sound good If it is, i would imagine that is it, it is a shame his career has been blighted by injury. Feel sorry for the man. Plus he looked very composed in the red and white. Still, here is to hoping.
  15. So, my drives seem to fly predominantly to the right, when i attempt to move the club face slightly or change my swing to counter act this, it goes to the left. Whats going wrong ????? Oh, btw, i have had lessons on my swing and my Iron play always goes straight and where i want it. Cheers guys
  16. What was the challenge ?? Directly on his shinbone ?? Or was there a twist ??
  17. I have no medical knowledge, other than a history of knee injurys, and one being an ACL injury, i can tell you, it is excruciatingly painfull, and even for me i thought at the time, christ, no more football for me, so god knows what was going through his mind, TBF, if it is a knee injury, and he needed O2, i doubt it's good. That was my meaning with career ending, due to his age, it could be OTT, but i doubt it if it is acl !!
  18. The fact that he was getting oxygen on the field and it says a knee injury, i think it is career over IMO. Think we will see an ACL injury, i really, truelly hope i am wrong here.
  19. And this means what exactly ??
  20. Chuffed if true, but as yet i question the reliability of said source. We shall see. As for the slagging off of the loan, get a life people FFS, many teams have done very well in both CCC and league 1 with many loan players, it is also an effective way to judge a players potential, plug gaps that COULD NOT otherwise be plugged with perm signings and also a chance for the player to get game time.
  21. The only 3 i would have suggested, although, ali would come last on that list. And of course, sonia from eastenders
  22. Yeah, no i know i am just being a but pedantic TBH.
  23. Hmm, that hester bird would get it. Never tried it but have heard some stories about salvia, can give you weird trips i believe. What i don't get, is how can you ban cannabis when it grows in the ground ??
  24. Sounds like you tweaked the medial collateral ligament, how did you sustain the injury originally ?? Was it a twisting motion ?? Studs get stuck ?? Knee collapsed ?? Problem is the doctor will just send you away and say to rest it for a set amount of time, you may want to see a physio to see whether they can diagnose it any clearer, or even go back to the GP and ask to see a specialist, though you will be waiting a while. How much swelling was there in the knee at the time ?? Did it swell up like a balloon ?? From experience, and i ruptured my ACL at 18, had surgery to fix it. Don't mess about with the knee, if you have a weakness in any ligaments in the knee it can cause a weakness of the knee as a whole, open it up to much more serious injuries if you are not careful. TBH, it doesn't sound like ACL, but if it was me do some cycling, swimming and lunges on the quads to build it up, or even buy a brace to wear for a month or so. HTH
