I've enjoyed the last few months without that feeling of doom as Saints kick off time approaches. COYS get a win and start getting some confidence back in the side.

Seems to have been a familiar theme with a number of our signings where we seem to have a habit of not getting the best out of them.

Where does it say that I am moaning, I was just pointing out that I don’t remember the club stating before that the streams for our home preseason games were being charged for. £5 is ok for those fans where it is not feasible to get there in person.👍

When they said pre season matches would be streamed I don’t remember them saying that they would charge for the home matches.

Unfortunately he is yet another player that the club failed to get the best out of through poor coaching, management and tac tics.

I’ve never thought of Rice as a star player and often watch an England match and don’t notice him. Mind you I have thought that about many ‘star’ midfield players over the years including Bryan Robson that people raved about but as you say they maybe the engine room of teams. When Saints have played West Ham I’ve never thought omg we’ve got to play against Rice.

When does pre-season start, it used to be around the beginning of July in the PL but for the Championship I guess it will be a week earlier?

Watching the build up to the Spurs Brentford match and I have many emotions regarding the likes of Brentford, Brighton and Fulham being successful in the EPL. I feel jealous, envious of their set up and playing to their potential and at the same time anger at how Saints have made so many organisational mistakes and not played to our potential, IMO we’re should be better than the results we have been getting. I hope that we get the best, successful, good man management, available manager in next. If we can afford £18m on a panic January transfer striker then we can afford a really good proven manager, if they want to come here!! But latest news of Russell Martin feels like they are throwing the dice again.

His brother (I don't know if fostered or not) is Jamie Martin who is an actor and is 9 years older than him. He may have other brothers though. Simon Stone at the bbc says that he has spoken to plenty of agents of Saints players whose clients will be looking to move on.

Have Smallbone and Telle come back yet now that their Championship sides have finished for the season? Could they play for us in our final games or still tied to the loan deal?

I think that Forest will play with too much energy and speed for us to be able to cope with, unfortunately.
