My season ticket holding son must be a sucker for punishment, 3 hour door to stadium each way on Wednesday ( now that he’s moved from Southampton) and getting the train to Aston Villa today. AV nearly 3 years ago and losing 4 0 was the start of our decline after doing well that season up til then, if we beat AV today (highly unlikely) could be the start of a new positive phase? (grasping at straws, deluded etc) 🤞😩

Similar to Leicester 9 0, weather, red card

Another cock up

My son is a season ticket holder but recently moved from Southampton to Bedfordshire. Does anyone have any recommendations where to park for a less congested quick getaway to get to the M3?

News on Ramsdale's finger injury has gone quiet, or have I missed something? Is it confirmed as broken? Did he have an operation on it last Wednesday?

Currently 42% possession, 4 shots 1 on target. Bravery ?

U21s losing at half time 2 0 away to Wealdstone in the National League Cup.

I think I read that they haven’t kept a clean sheet since February

4 points from safety 👍

I'm just waiting to be disappointed again

Yeah I almost don't want us to score and get our hopes up only to dashed again.

2 strikes at goal and 2 goals

Arma on for Dibling
-
Yeah given away 3 last minute points doing that this season.

I wonder if RM will see TP as a Stewart replacement starting forward or a 60 minute sub if we are chasing a game? Or revert to preferring not to use him unless absolutely necessary.

If you are a TRUE Saints supporter you go and support the team through good and bad times. It is never a waste of money to watch your team play even though some of the time you are left disappointed, frustrated or even angry with a performance.

Diblings got to learn when to dribble with the ball and when to release it to others.

He’s now at Nottingham Forest on loan.

I’m watching Crewe (now local team) v Liverpool u21 in the EFL Trophy on Sky Sports + and even that has commentary good quality picture. I’ve watched a few sports+ broadcasts now and they have been good and so much choice of EFL matches and this is being broadcast with every match being played in the US Open Tennis as well.

And would build up the ‘scar tissue’, demoralisation again. P.S. ABK was down at an Ocean Village cafe this afternoon with his partner and baby, so he doesn’t seem to be on the verge of a transfer although of course there are still 3 days to go 🤞

Where do people view the press conferences live? I go to both the Saints app and website but can never find it 😩

The second game where we have gifted them their goal. There are times to run or pass it out and other to hoof it up field or out while the defence resets.

Fawanews has a good stream at the moment

Aston Villa forum for him has 266 pages and was started in 2019 when he came on for his Senior debut. They seem to generally like him and wish him good luck. Some comments: Being as objective as possible I think he'll never be prolific in the Premier League. Always liked Archer. I hope he goes on to have a wonderful career. He deserves it. One of the few of our ex-players whose career I will follow with interest. Hopefully he has a sense of permanence in his career now and can score loads of goals. I was never a big fan of the buyback deal, good luck to him in the future. £15m is a little more than I thought we'd get after the non-starter of last season. Hope he does well, he's just not suited to our system. If they play to his strengths he'll get a minimum of 10 goals Good luck, cya next season etc.. joking aside, good luck apart from when playing us! Finally looks like a permanent home for him, hopefully can kick on from there! I like Archer, but feel like he's going to be one of those Dwight Gayle types that has excellent seasons in the Championship and then can't quite make it translate to the Premier League. He has some great natural instincts but he doesn't really have the size, pace or strength at this level which you're never really going to get away with when the standard is so high. He wouldn't be a bad squad option by any means but it's just a move that makes sense given the circumstances.
