Wrexham is a club that I have interest in coz my wife and family are from there. If you put to one side the media circus of Hollywood they are a solid historic club who have been through a tough few decades. The sheep sha**ging banter is all a bit cringy ( like a lot of chirpy chappy predictable banter) but seems to amuse some supporters. Anyway I predict a 1 - 1 draw. Really hope Wrexham don’t win to bring a downer and sap momentum to the start of Saints season and also feeding the media frenzy for them.

I sometimes watch home nations Women’s Football or Cricket if there’s nothing else on. Being a Sky sports subscriber with Test Cricket and F1 and with other free to air sports like Wimbledon and Tour de France on at the moment my appetite for a sports fix with these Women’s Euros is very low. I can understand those who only have access to free to air sport might be more attracted to the current Euros.

Thanks. I still would have preferred a striped back but I quite like the look of it with red numbers/letters, somewhat balances out the red and white look. I always think that it’s a risk having players names put on at this time of year, will they be here come September?

Where have you seen this about red numbers? Will it also be the players names? I posted some weeks ago, when the rumours were about a plain white back, that red numbers/letters would somewhat improve the look of the back.

I would like us to be home for the first match with an encouraging dominate win. Then some easier matches with good results during August to get the season going positively with the confidence and belief building in the players and the new set up. My guess for the first match is home to Preston.

If this is true then it’s disappointing having the plain back when not regulated to have one. It would look better when a name and number is on the back but in the same shade of RED as the stripes on the front. The proportion of red stripes to white I prefer the wider red stripes on the previous ‘leak’.

Yeah I can’t see his style of football suiting Rangers. When ever I have watched their games, mostly Old Firm derbies, they have been high energy attacking play, bombing forward at speed.

Yeah not may now, I posted when Wrexham were 2 0 up after 20 minutes but being a Saints supporter my mindset is expecting a draw or loss when being in the lead. Great for Wrexham though and North Wales a previous owner tried to run them down and sell the stadium for housing development. Welcome to Wrexham is now on Sky Max from Disney+ and we are ploughing through it, it’s a good watch for us with my wife coming from there.

Brilliant goals from Wrexham which is my wife’s home team. 2 years ago we were 4 divisions higher than them and now we may be playing them next season.

Every game we are worse after the mid second half subs and the opposition better with extra vigour. So predictable.

No next match thread yet….. I have a positive feeling about this match and think that we will get at least a draw, maybe a win. Fulham have lost 4 out of their last 6 but they haven’t played anyone as easy as us 😂
