  1. Are Admongspeep allowed to Troll? :smt081
  2. While we are on the subject of how much more wonderful the US is than the UK in looking after it's citizens (ahhemm!) this link came into my inbox. It really does support all those red necks in proclaiming that the yewessofa is truly the land of the free. Only in America.
  3. What the heck are they on now? So a, presumably, successful businessman is going to cash in his part ownership of a top level, playing in Europe, possible top 5 team. To invest it in a debt ridden, possible relegation fodder team, with little or no hope. Of course he is! He'd make more money playing Poirot.
  4. Several times!
  5. Fair point, I had not followed all the threads in which you were outlining your problems. From the little I had seen I thought you had a disability. So, why are you a nasty piece of work then, with no excuse whatsoever?
  6. From someone with an admitted disability that was well thought out.
  7. There are probably areas within ML's empire where there are duplication of roles and savings can and will be made when possible?
  8. I really would like to know the answer to this, although I think that in all fairness it was probably that specific consultant's opinion. However, two of my friends, about dad's age, have since been diagnosed with the same illness. They have both told me that they had no option other than a hormone treatment which, apparently, works quite well. I do wish I had been at the consultation, if only to ask what I felt might be relevant questions and learn from the answers!
  9. Thank you for reinforcing my point. Although I was of the opinion that my fellow members were aware that NHS treatment comes prepaid!
  10. I am able to comment on this particular point, you may draw your own conclusion from what I am going to recount. My Dad, when aged 69, was diagnosed with cancer of the prostate. He was referred to a consultant, prior to the operation, to have the whole process of the operation explained to him. the consultant told my Dad, quite clearly, that he was lucky he was not 70 as they would have not operated but would have chosen an alternative treatment. Dad has made a full recovery, this was 8 years ago, and leads a very active life. I still can't quite get to grips with the consultant's comment. Was it his opinion? NHS Policy? Or why that decision would be made. I'm just glad that Dad was not 70! As to the comment, being attributed to lefties, that NHS treatment is free ? It's free at the point of provision, even this old lefty knows that!
  11. Of course not! It's more like morbid curiosity, driven by a paranoia that we will, eventually, end up back in the ascencency over the blue few.
  12. :smt081 It's paediatrician you fool!
  13. They're welcome to each other!
  14. Level headed thinking chaps! Xenophobia. Indoctrination through fear. That's how many religions and political groups work. Identify an 'enemy' that is easy to spot through physical characteristics, alienate this 'enemy', disenfranchise this 'enemy' and, when the 'enemy' complains and reacts, use force and tell others "See! that's just what we expected of these people, trying to undermine our society!" Of course there are are also extremities in any religion. It's down to us to realise that there is a whole difference between the quiet, decent Muslim/Chinese/White family down the road and the ranting Talibs/Triads/BNP in other areas.
  15. But doesn't Gaydamask need this deal?
  16. Keep it coming Tac-tics, but be careful not to bite the hand that feeds! Exciting times.
  17. I think he's sending his own P.A. A Mr Fiasco? If his Mum let's him stay out late.
  18. Hear hear! Well said sir.
  19. Other clubs may well try to play hardball but Lennie Lawrence summed it all up. When a player wants to go (as in Lambert's case a life changing move because of the salary and set up on offer) there's little a club can do but get the best deal. I'm sure that our boardroom are well aware of just how much they will be played in other such negotiations. But who cares? This signing is still invigorating me now, positive moves but not totally gung-ho in our approach.
  20. Set it to The Lambeth Walk instead? Any given Saturday When you're down St Mary's Way You'll hear us roar Look at Rick Lambert score! Oy! He scores so free and easy Does as he darn well pleasy Why don't you make your way there Go there, stay there Any given Saturday.....repeat. Watch this to get the idea:
  21. Great news and, as others say, a declaration of intent. Patience pays off.
  22. Hence my link.
