So you make a clean break and everyone else is supposed to follow suit. As I said, there's two ways to do things. The Alpine Way or the wrong way. Doesn't it interest you what actually happened? Or why it happened? Are you not angry that many fans, maybe not yourself, are peeved at what happened? Of course the new management team have an uphill struggle, directly down to the Pinnacle mullarkey in my opinion. I'd still love to know why it all nearly went belly up. Just because I don't think or react the same way as you doesn't make me wrong.

The Pinnacle story is relatively unknown by most of us. For you to go on about dwelling in the past is also rather contradictory considering your history of postings about certain people at the club. Surely we need the history to learn our lessons? Otherwise how do we improve how things happen in the future? The very fact that the team is going to struggle this coming season is indicative of the impact that the Pinnacle debacle has had on the club. It's worth us knowing undr the circumstances who is to blame. Your opinion seems to offer two ways of doing something, the Alpine Way or the wrong way. When, in my experience, there are many other ways of doing things.

I think that FF has posted because he wants us to realise how close we came and in response to some on here who derided his behind the scenes knowledge. When you are held in the same respect as FF generally is on here then maybe you could come on here and add something of value. Until then why don't you stop for a while and try to compose something which is both constructive and informative?

I think that Lienam probably realises that he's 'personna non grata' around here right now and values his teeth. To be quite frank.
-
There's no doubting your loyalty, however misplaced it may appear to us lot! Just be careful though, your club could well end up with the type of chancers we nearly ended up with. Football's a beautiful game, it just ain't as much fun anymore.

I have two focus points for my anger about all this. Pinnacle for what seems to be their lying and scheming which took not only decent, good guys (like MLT) but decent, well intentioned businessmen (like LC) and the fans for a ride. Myself, despite all my recently found cynicsm, for falling for all their bollickx. I so wanted us safe and that clouded my instincts. Thank the Lord that ML & Co were quick enough after all that crap to clear things up. No wonder they are miffed at Lienam and Co! That aahsole took MLT and their friendship to a new meaning.

Excellent revelations Duncan. Maybe those who doubted you and were less than kind in judging you will now realise that, whilst ITK, you maintained that dignity and discretion which enable people to confide in you? I guessed we were up to our necks in it, just didn't realise how close to the edge of the abyss we were!

Hmmm, I wonder what will happen in the January sales?

Comical Ali, committed to the cause? http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=166993 EDIT - Their copy and paste from NickG's link.

http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=166993 Looks like 'Comical Ali' is really committed to the cause. keep up the good work Agent Ali!

Sincere best wishes Snowballs, fight hard, fight dirty but walk with your head held high. May your God be on your side.

You'll probably be safer in Brighton during that week than you'd be on the streets of most other UK towns and cities!

Of course your description was totally tongue in cheek. They don't all look like monsters. While agreeing with your sentiments and logic in the cold light of day I will say now that if my child became a victim I think all logic would leave my mind and I would probably be more than happy to do both the crime and the time.

I wish that I could identify a paedophile on the street, at least I could warn my kids to avoid them.

This seems a rather strange comment to make. FF actually does have, through his work as club historian, access to many of the characters who are closely connected with the club. If you think about this it would probably include players, back room staff, board members and prominent local businessmen who may have attended games through sponsorship or business networking. It doesn't take much to realise that confidences do get passed from time to time. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes in error. It up to us whether we believe this or not but Duncan is, in my honest opinion, a down to earth guy and far removed from being 'elitist' as indicated in your comment.

I haven't an ounce of pitty in my body.

Considering that Murdoch is also a goalkeeping coach I'd say that the plan is starting to come together. The good thing now is that all the news seems to be positive. I love it!
-
When it's legally possible to do so?
-
That's always going to happen and it always has. Except years ago the 'gossip' was aired over a few beers in the pub.
-
Well, that's one way to sell a club...

It's the sort of thing that could have happened if certain characters had bought us. -
This sort of thing is totally over and above any conception of 'wifely duty' through love etc. It's just plain wrong and she should have been informing the O.B. so that they could trap this pathetic piece of crap long before he got going. How does a paedophile work on his Mrs to get her to help him procure these young innocents? Even though he may have held some sort of power over her she surely knew this was wrong? Sick *****.

That's only because the council had to pull down the rest of the terrace either side.

Is a cup of coffee not liquid in your house then? Too obtuse. Sorry.
