I think that the creditors already have a figure in mind below which they will not be prepared to negotiate. Somehow I think they will be pragmatic and accept a small, reasonable amount rather than nothing?

Indeed, St Nicholas Church (the closest landmark for proximity to Ten Acres) is in North Stoneham: http://www.astoft.co.uk/northstoneham.htm

Mike Jones - Saturday's ref to exagerate pitch invasion?
EastleighSoulBoy replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Just to reinforce this post. I was listening to the same radio programme. The commentator clearly informed the listeners that there were four minutes of stoppage time to play. When the injury to Wotton occurred i heard the referee's whistle, it seemed rather long to be just for a foul and the commentator made comment to the fact that things seemed serious for Wotton, I imagined then that the whistle was long and shrill calling for the physio's attention. Almost immediately the commentator said that it seemed the game was over and the ref had in fact blown for time. i must admit I was not clock watching but thought that the four minutes seemed to have gone very quickly. The commentator himself did seem a tad confused by what was happening with Wotton and where the ref was going! -
Nah, just a pain in the harrse.

Oh! That's alright then, I thought you were talking about handbags at 40 paces!

Of course he is! Takes a typical eastleigh person to let Stu upset them, now let me get my hands on him! :smt117

Maybe, but StuRomseyRant does take himself extremely seriously, if only the rest of us would! When we stop splitting our sides from laughing at him!

Oh do please expand on this, I'm warming to your line of thought.

Another sweeping generalisation from someone who is, shall we say, less intellectually gifted?

Interesting Comments from Burnley Fans
EastleighSoulBoy replied to Ian the Red's topic in The Saints
They came to gloat, maybe to have a wind up. They found a little more than they were looking for. What happened to them was probably illegal but what goes around comes around. Life's tough isn't it? -

Do I send you the bill for deep cleaning my monitor and keyboard? -
Which leads to a question, from my simplistic viewpoint. Let's say we get a team that has won the bid, all that's needed is to dot the 'i's and cross the 't's. Meanwhile the club gets into a 'we need £100k today or we fold' situation. Can the bid winners stump this up to avoid folding? In fact, would it be wise (given that it would probably be in their interests to)?

FA to investigate a "reported missing £40m"

I see what you're saying there, so if he keeps silent (Lowe) what could be construed from him remaining so? -
FA to investigate a "reported missing £40m"

So now the press are alleging what we have been alluding to all along! Those that were in charge really did think us fans were gullible. If it's found that there is any amount of money missing and they find out who is responsible for that then surely it will lead to a fraud charge? If so and found guilty will they be made to return as much as is possible to the company? No wonder nobody wanted to sell! Any more dirty laundry to be found under the bed? And we trusted these people, despite our reservations, because we had no choice. -
Well said. I have learned quite a lot tonight about certain members and their rather quaint opinions of certain sections of society.

Was I not saying that? Apologies if I was not making myself clear!

I understand Mr Salz to be a well respected man in the city. I'm sure that if only out of curiosity he will have looked at the wording of all the charges and findings. He is more than likely to be fully aware of how SLH/SFC are or are not connected. He will also have probably weighed up any such chances an appeal may stand. He doesn't strike me as a man who would offer his opinion unasked (not like us lot then!) but would, I'm sure, 'look at things' if so asked. I think SFC might do well to not only ask his opinion but furthermore abide by it? He's not daft (unlike a lot of us on here!).

After all these months on here, with all the bile and vitriol being spewed at Lowe. Nickg still hasn't quite grasped the level of affection we have for the man.

Is Tom Scott that, hypothetically, effing stupid? Hypothetically speaking, I just couldn't go through it all again.
