Do we want a Billionaire to take us over?

Maybe an old fashioned outlook but absolutely spot on! -

I have it on good authority that LLS is currently tied up in a 'quantative easing' operation for the government.:^o -
If that's full on action may I suggest we skip the Rule 1, just this time, please?

Now that's perspective! And you were doing so well until you just had to try and start another takeover rumour!

I expect a lot of the Anti SISA clan expected Rich to be on here in a torrent of 'Told you so' threads.

Long Shot is still on here although she changed her username and now refrains from posting.

Barclays: "Significantly increase attendances" AND "sell players"

Nick, are you naive enough to expect him to accept any part in the demise of Saints? Sniff sniff hmmmmmmm! Just love that Kenco! -
I can see, from the way we are playing and our luck is running, us snatching bottom place without the League's help!

My money on Sounness then.

Surely Lowe should have noted last season that, despite a possible relegation, the fans were behind the team, a sort of 'feelgood factor' existed. Boosted by the obvious euphoria at the final game he should really have looked at the potential. But no. He had to do it his way. I have no proof other than this feeling that Pearson did not have his contract extended/renewed whatever because it did not fit in with Lowe's spiteful plan. Don't get me wrong, I think he had this plan brewing for a long time. The icing on the cake was the spiteful move of passing over Pearson and removing LC's man. I do think that for that action we have paid dearly.

Anthony Salz by all reports strikes me as a well respected man. To me he seems reserved and careful of thought and respected in the city. If he can still see promise within these stricken portals then there is hope for us yet. The whole idea of a Salz, Davies etc consortium does appeal. Maybe a drunken prayer or two tonight? Asking the good Lord to guide these very souls to Save Our Saints? I really do sadden, deeply within, to contemplate our demise. -
Oooooerr missus!

A wave of optimism, sadly dashed on the rocks of incapability. Let's hope we do better in L1, if we get there? Magners and Merlot, hardly conducive to logical thought process!

It also proves, by their getting involved together, how divisive some people were. Now those divisive ones are gone these sort of things are able to happen.

Quilley has an absence line to phone where you leave a recorded message. They will also send an SMS to your mobile if your child is absent. The lady on reception, I call her 'The Deflector' will almost always put you through to a teacher whose answer machine will cut in, almost immediately, so you leave a message and contact details. We have had a poor response on this (understatement). Last week our daughter and complete class went to the V & A museum with the school. By half past 9 many irate parents had been advised, via a SMS, that their child was absent for registration and first period. I wonder if the school were thinking 'where the faark are these 25 kids?'

And, I believe, that we are trying to stay up the correct way? I'll bide my time until the League decide what is and isn't the correct way. FWIW I hope our way is 'correct', if not then we'll get what we don't really, as fans, deserve!

Oooops! Already sorted!

They were filming in Derby Rd and all the roads off of it about 3 weeks ago.

Over on Saintlist there is mention of a Press Conference at 13.00 today. Anybody know more?

With the possible demise of Saints there will be even more opportunity for books about the good old days! I don't think, for one minute, that the likes of Duncan Holley, David Bull, Gary Chalk and others researched and compiled those books to make money. In fact, unless I am gravely mistaken, they probably just about broke even, if that! But that whole scenario is really none of our business and to resort to innuendo, which I have no doubt you are using, is a sad and lamentable move on your behalf. At least those gentlemen got off their arrrrsiz and provided a plethora of information and entertainment that would otherwise have never seen the light of day. Now, with Damien having gone, we can look to the future and hope that something can be ressurected from these ashes.

I would think that Dave Jones staying on because he is the financial director. This should be to enable a smooth transition over to the Administrator and allow them to see the financial workings of the club. Dave Jones was the one constant through the turmoil and changes in the boardroom over the past few years.

Yes mate, one minute prior to yours, Sorry!
