Do you know, despite me understanding your point, I have to say this. There are thousands of fans out there who would love to play for their team and maybe even earn a few bob at it while living that dream. Most of us however have to settle by feeding that dream while attending matches. If I had been able to live that dream, to play for Saints (meh! in my effin' dreams more like!) then when injury came to call I'd fight it tooth and nail and I would hang on in there. Maybe dumbly dreaming that I could pull on a fresh red & white striped shirt, to lace my boots and walk out on that pitch again. To play again for my team. Yup! I'd desperately hang on to that dream. I'd lose sight of the grim reality. Thanks Killer, for what you did do for us.

I do recall how people were crowing "we'll walk this league" on relegation from the PL. Well, 3 seasons of 'walking it' and here we are. Even more seasons of fantastic defeats from so called 'lesser teams' too. When are we going to courageously pick up that fork and take a large chunk of humble pie and realise that we are where we are on ability (yes we have a vast catalogue of reasons why we have this level of ability)? A more humble, and respectful of our fellow division members, outlook should be taken. Certainly it would pay us to have reservations about playing in L1 even though we may think there's nothing to fear! **EDIT** This is not necessarily scoring points from you, more a general comment!
