It looks as though the Trust may well get their wish and be intermediate owners for a few months, before another administration and then being bought out by a local small businessman like all other low to non-league clubs. (I wonder if there'll still be outstanding football creditors and non-payment of CVA1, and a double points deduction) So, Sweepstake time When will they go into administration again? I'll go for March 31 2014

How are they going to repay the loan within 5 months? Could it be that the heroic (today, anyway) HNW's already have a deal in place to sell the land to Robinson for their own little profit. I wonder where pfc's playing requirements figure in those plans? (if anywhere). ... or am I being shamefully mistrustful on those fine upstanding individuals Edit - Oh, I see. They're using the PP's for that as well as everything else. Kinda 1 cheque pays all

I assume the council have seen the whole business plan in order for them agree to the loan, and being sensible and law abiding people, the business plan must bear scrutiny and be workable. That reassures me because my blood would be boiling if I thought pfc were going to escape again just because some politicians couldn't be trusted to behave with integrity and in the best interests of their community.

How can approving the loan be unanimous when some were arguing for delay and liquidation?
-
So what you're saying is friendly Mr Robinson may not be so friendly in a few months time

Think it has made perceived lesser players up their games, like new signings should do
-
Got to earn his place. Fonte was great before he got injured so why should he be ignored. Maybe we should play 4 centre backs

1-0 nice!

Slip of the tongue from Whittingham on the Soccer Saturday pfc feature. He said they were kicked out of their training ground, then corrected himself to say leaving the training ground PST board members who were all interviewed were patronising c*nts - made out that Baloo was deluded thinking that the ground was worth more than their offer

What are TV revenues like in Conference South?

That's pretty much where we were 20 pages ago. Option A) If the Judge sees it as a football stadium only then it's probably not even worth £3m Option B) If he views it as land with 'potential', then £10m is closer the mark, but it doesn't have the potential with a football club in existence It's a circular problem - their saving grace may be that on the day of the trial the football club still exists and Option A is applied. But if he chooses option B then there's no football club to get in the way becasue pfc won't survive that ruling

Looking at the breakdown above I'd suggest that £3,000,001 is out of reach
-
The only hope I think they have is for the PST to take it on regardless of all the data pointing to it being the worst business deal in history, in the knowledge that the PPs cover the football debt. They can go into admin again in 12 months with only 'normal debt' and then get a local businessman to buy them out with a 3x diluted debt at manageable levels. Maybe that's the long term plan. Continued disdain for creditors and and up-yours attitude

He'll be in trouble. Quoting actual facts to the phew - must be a scummah! (Joking apart, it's crazy that they don't want to even consider any data that might not support what they want to believe. Childish even)

There's no reason to take that view. Cases are often heard quicker (or fast-tracked) if there's a specific reason. It's the possibility for appeal if Chinney loses that intrigues me
-
Don't think they have time for that

Anybody would think you were all trying to pad this thread out now with poems because you don't think it'll reach the magic 100,000 posts..... Fear not, whether it's PDT or Liquidation / Phoenix, this theads got years of belly laughs to come yet.
-
Surely the PST can afford to buy the club without the ground if the court ruling goes against them? I would have thought they'd rather retain their precious history and ground share with Brighton than die completely? Saying we want the club but we must have the ground too or we're not interested is just childish for a supporters trust

I like the last line of that article too. After saying that it was good that the fans were trying to make pfc a community owned club, he went on to suggest it would be interesting if a big club tried it next Or have I misinterpreted that?

Ah, the question of Life the Universe and Everything (How many roads must a man walk down) The answer was 42. It's not supposed to make sense!

The best so far

I call excellent finish off a dodgy bounce on a rubbish pitch Wow. Barca 2 down. Now watch Milan park the bus in the second leg
-
Lost track of which ones have gone and where Cool finish in the 90th minute. Hope he brings that back with him

Is that our Ben Reeves that just scored the goal that got Southend to Wembley? I know what your thinking. Why are you watching Southend instead of Barcelona? The answer is because it's a cracking match
