Help me out people because I just don't get this. No doubt the actions of the Man Citeh fans was pretty pathetic on Sunday but our mate Rio seems to be cast a complete victim in all this. Yet, in the 90th(odd) minute of a heated derby, with the away team having just grabbed a last minute winner, he chooses to run the Citeh fans (not to his team mates) and grabs/exposes his shirt and club badge in a pretty provocative manner, shoving it in the direction of the home support. Now what did he expect to happen? Polite applause? Chants of there's only one Rio Ferdinand? But I haven't heard one word from a ruling body, journo or even any fans (other than Citeh ones) pointing out that perhaps Mr Ferdinand in some way brought the situation on himself.
