I was just taking a gander at the Prediction League and I was struck by a blinding flash of the obvious (obvious in my opinion anyway!). Note that as someone who doesn't even participate in it, I feel very highly qualified to share this observation with you. Here goes. All the names at the top of the league (that would be the people who guess the right score from time to time but guess the correct winner/loser fairly frequently), do not in any way correspond with the names of the posters on the main board who voice the most ferocious or opinionated posts (and when I say 'opinionated' I mean, defended as an opinion but worded as a fact). The conclusion I'm therefore drawing is that those that know something about the game are generally quiet unassuming folk and those that don't (and have low scores on the prediction league) like to shout loud to make up for it. (Puts hands over ears and shuts eyes) Discuss --- PS - I suppose some people may not have entered the Prediction League so that their lack of football knowledge wasn't highlighted, so that's another reason they don't appear - myself excluded of course

Losing at home to Notts County now Shame. That'll be a real giant killing for County, what with pimpey being so massive with their bestest fanbase and all I expect that the ref is to blame and has been overawed by the occasion, or is the FL for not allowing them a competitive squad (and by competitive I mean PL standard), or maybe it's Blackpool, Palace, Ipswich or any other team without a Manager in the last 2 years fault for unsettling their ultra talented manager Appy. The trust also need to get the FL to drop the -10 points issue this was regarding Portpin failing on the previous CVA with portpin now out the picture it would be wrong to deduct the 10 points from the Trust consortium. I don't believe that. Do they really not understand to that degree? I'm shocked (really!) How can anyone be that thick / deluded / just plain ignorant
