  1. I think the first lesson the PST need to learn is don't try and negotiate with BC through the media You'll just get his back-up The only hope they have, bearing in mind his money is secured against the ground rather then him owning the ground, is to go through the courts and that will take time
  2. You just have to look at the Ron Noades / Simon Jordan stand off. RN owned Selhurst Park and always wanted £4m-£5m more than the market value, yet SJ only ever wanted to pay the market value. Result? RN owned it for years and rented it to Palace and it completely hamstrung them. I don't think the PST will gain much by appealing to BC's better nature
  3. A one goal deficit against City is a better result than most teams will get
  4. FFS You're going to be very unhappy this season
  5. Fox is a week link, the CBs we knew about anyway On the whole, that wasn't at all bad
  6. I'll be happy with a gutsy battling performance that creates a few decent chances s maybe scoring 1 goal
  7. We could have spent £100m in the summer and been odds on to lose today Look at it like a wild card match Getting 0 will be the same as everyone else gets
  8. It's going to be tough but 18 or 19 other teams will lose this fixture this season It really doesn't matter
  9. We're going to make a few of those key signings in the next 2 weeks so I'll say... 8-10
  10. The players had legally binding contracts They now have legally binding settlement agreements to terminate said contracts. They are no longer at the club and therefore not subject to abusive fans and moronic media - why should the now ex-players revisit the new agreements? They'd be mad to and wouldn't
  11. The PST Bid is both 'realistic and achievable' FFS It's only realistic and achievable if: 1) The PCC give you a £1.45m loan even though no lending establishment would touch you or the club 2) Players with legally binding contracts who have already deferred and settled in your favour take a further 75% hit 3) BC walks away for £2.75m even though he's 'put in' up to £18m As usual, every thing at pimpey is achievable if everyone gives you everything for nothing Try paying your way c*nts
  12. Ok, not the island league... How about 'The sh!tty inbread areas league', or 'The we think we're special league', or even the 'What is Tax league?'
  13. They could find their natural level and enter the island league - playing against IOW, IOM, Skye, Jersey, Guernsey - they might struggle against Gibralter though! Naaaa - That would be scilly
  14. On holiday this week I think Which, ironically, will make it easy to identify him for anyone at SFC who is wondering who the mysterious THEVMAN who is ITK on Saintsweb is. Can't be many people involved with the first team who would go away this week
  15. It won't be so easy to bully the 8 players who agreed compromises to make a further deduction this time though will it. They've gone. Are the knuckle draggers going to charters planes to Israel or where ever to hound TBH? It was easy when they were forced to train and play in friendlies in front of the mad phew. I also doubt they read much of Neil Allen's cr*p either pfc are in the past and any that make out they care are pretending
  16. To be fair (I know, I know) the embargo was in place until they got the high earners off the wage bill. They've now done that. If the administrator wants to reduce creditor funds further by spending on wages that's his choice. Afterall, he's only spending the money of one particularly dodgy secured creditor anyway!
  17. It wouldn't help their argument with the FL to cut them some slack and let them sign some players though would it. They really do need to get thrashed to prove they need experience to be competitive. It would actually be quite funny if their youth team won in some ways
  18. Don't they have to convince the FL that they can complete the season before starting it? Could be the FL don't let them start it?
  19. So no problem. They can start the league season... Just not with any players
  20. TB doesn't think the Trust have the money and are a waste of time Even if they could do a deal it won't be quick Skateville can't sign any players and could be 30 adrift at the bottom just playing kids by the time the trust get their pledges in and get a deal done
  21. No one can sign yet as they don't have an owner. Even if BC does complete it's being suggested that the budget he's made available for MA is way less than he thought and subsequently the promises MA has made to the better trialists can no longer be fulfilled. They're f*cked
  22. Pretty much agrees with what is thought on here. All the creditors under £2500 won't be paid - although it has been promised they will All the charities that were owed money won't be paid - although it has been promised that they will The players who have agreed reduced settlements to save the club won't be paid - although it has been promised that they will The creditors who accepted a ridiculously low return in the CVA won't be paid - although it has been promised that they will Now PFK have been asked to reduce their fees, even though there is absolutely no leverage to make them do so, other than emotional blackmail BC ought not to pass the FPPT until he has lodged monies to cover at least the first 2 above And the PL ought to give all of the remaining parachute payments to the FL to ensure the others are paid before BC does a vanishing act with the money
  23. Exactly. We're not taking chances CB's are not to blame for 25 yard screamers - although we do need some!
  24. You mean they have their own FPPT. how ironic
