  1. Just emotional blackmail BC wants knuckle dragging skates hammering on the door of the local PFK office making threats They've to no need to compromise, but I bet they do BC has played a blinder here. I wish I could find out the full facts of what's going on at the moment as well as the full strategy of AA's involvement with TBH
  2. Does it matter that TB has promised millions of the remaining PP to the players in settlements? It doesn't mean BC will actually pay them. He'll just take the PP when they come in and let the club face the consequences won't he? It the football league have any sense they'll get the PP diverted to them, pay all the football commitments and pass on what little is left to BC and PFC
  3. TBH says he lost £2m in the last administration TB says TBH was unwilling to compromise in the last administration Someone's telling porkies? Can't imagine which
  4. If the Skates care so much about their sh1tty club why don't they club together and pay TBH off? Rather than just expecting him to give his money away for their benefit.
  5. It is bizarre Every other team has to watch what they spend so as to avoid getting into financial trouble and potential administration and then liquidation. The Skates seem to be immune to the final element and just revert back to stage 1 again
  6. They want the players to leave to guarantee the survival of the club and therefore gain hero status... What's hero status worth a Notarf Krap? Kanu, scores winning goal in FA Cup final... Hero... now, public enemy number 1 Alan Knight, Long serving loyal player... Hero... Suggests they ought to reform and take their punishment... Slagged off in the Snooze Etc Hero status isn't worth much down there. Kitson, Kanu, TBH Should you give up hundreds of thousands of pounds to save pimpey and appease the few? F*ck off should you As one fan said last week in the snooze. Write a cheque Chinney - let's go shopping You hang in there!
  7. Have got pic but basically just 2 mates (Harry & Pete) sitting having a friendly conversation.... ... in very hushed voices, stopping when anyone walks past and sitting at a table where they couldn't possibly be overheard Will upload pic later when I'm near wireless, other than that nothing I can report factually! Bet they thought the nutjobs wouldn't see them here! Let the conspiracy theories commence!
  8. Damn. Making a point of sitting at a table in the middle of bloody nowhere Can you believe H doesn't drink (!). You'd think he was afraid of being caught out or something wouldn't you ;-)
  9. Hmmmmmm I'm at a golf club on the Hants / Dorset border and there is a certain Mr P Storrie sitting on his own on the back terrace, obviously waiting for someone. On the course I've just see Mr H Redknapp Coincidence? Or is this a survival plot about to be hatched? Might hang around and listen in!
  10. Love the comment from the guy that hoped Birch wasn't on more then £1200/week and if he was it was a disgrace FFS - The real world is over here
  11. What is really interesting about how that was phrased is that Gordon Taylor was only trying to get the Parachute Payments used to guarantee future payments of the Compromise Agreements and Chanrai wouldn't even accept that. What that says to me (and my job is negotiating contracts) is that whatever the Players agree, Chanrai has no intention of ever paying anything - not a penny. He is determined to avoid any legal mechanism that forces him to eventually make any payment. As everyone has said all along, he just wants to pocket the Parachute Payments and then sell the club for £1 to the PST and then rent them the ground for £1m/season and pass this problem on to someone else... or simply liquidate them after receiving the PP's and then redevelop the ground. The Few have to recognise that there is NO way forward other than to abandon the current club and start again. Unfortunately, again as has been said many times, this needed to be done a year ago.
  12. Varney to Leeds United for £300k!!? Why on earth would they want to pay actual money for him. Either way they could get him for nothing in a couple of weeks I know Ken Bates is a nutter, but I didn't think he'd lost it to that degree
  13. That was bloody fantastic Guan2.0 Funniest thing I've seen for ages, ESPECIALLY the Avram joke Brilliant If I could do one of those doffing my cap smileys it'd be right here!
  14. Would be a waste of time. They've all already accepted that he wants his money or it's curtains. No point trying to apply pressure to someone behind a desk in Hong Kong who is the closest equivalent to a modern day Ebanezer Scrooge I've ever seen
  15. Problem is legendary status isn't worth a whole lot down there. Seem to remember Kanu was a legend not that long ago Why make a major sacrifice for something that changes with the tide
  16. Spineless he isn't He's showing he has balls by not caving into the cranks that occupy Portsea Island
  17. Think I prefer the first Bearsy to the second, and I never thought I'd think that!
  18. I said it before and I'll say it again If any of their players get assaulted by a fan it's going to be directly Allen's fault The way he is stirring up hate is disgusting He's a very nasty individual
  19. Who's Scarbone - He sounds scary!
  20. I'd love to know for the record how many people have lost their jobs due to non-payment of debts. So many individuals and small businesses having to cope with money earned but never realised Even new positions that were on the cards with larger companies that were put on hold due to a financial hit. The few don't care about them. I don't even see how they can't tell the difference between the players situation in January and now. In January they were heros for staying. That was when they really needed to go. Not sure how they can live with themselves. The fans, not the players.
  21. They've been 3 weeks from death for so long I'm not sure I believe it any more. On Twitter one guy said PFC could die because of greedy footballers and for him Football was dead. Well in a way your right mate. If a team can get away with taking players away from other clubs, giving them contracts they can't afford, wiping out £130million of debt and yet retain an FA Cup win, blame said players for problem and them survive... then for me, football will be dead.
  22. Don't misunderstand what I mean when I say the other end of society I'm not talking about wealth I'm talking about a willingness to work and contributing. Also, employers now expect so much and many couples are so heavily 'worked' that kids just become an option they never get time for (and also they don't want to take the income 'hit' to have them)
  23. Unfortunately I think this is the first time that the problem has been combined with people from the other end of society electing not to have kids though. It used to be something that you automatically just did, but not any more
