FFS Those losses away to Arsenal and Chelsea really were unforgivable. Based on your logic Spurs are heading for the conference

66% possession in the first half

Morgan and Adam on

That sounds to me like the choice was between retaining GW or appointing RB. But surely RB was still employed by Crawley at that point in time? Unless they were choosing between Barker and Awford (who wouldn't have been a fresh face)

I know what you're getting at, but that's most Spanish Teams record against Real Madrid except for Barca!

While the FL ensure that they are paying off their old debts, then they have no money (or less than the competition anyway). Southampton's 5 year plan was to get back to the PL from L1 WITH MONEY poopeys 4 year plan is to get back to the 'top' from L2 with NO MONEY Managerial suicide for any wannabe. He'll be sacked within months, particularly with the admission that when the phew start to turn then the board have to act. They turn more often than a burger on a barbecue

This definitely. Lovren and Boruc -
Will be delighted with one win and one loss, as others have said, much better than 2 draws. Would prefer 2 wins though

Not the times on a Saturday. They pretend we don't exist. The closest they ever come to admitting we're even playing is including us in the list of fixtures in the middle. Someone has upset them big time. Every other day of the week the times is fine -
Is so windy that one ball forward just turned round on the floor and started coming back the other way
-
Keeper hoofed it clear. It got caught on the wind, bounced half way into our half with both CDs letting it go and bounced over Boruc who was on the edge of his area. Crazy unlucky.
-
Wind is crazy Practically unplayable. Bounce on the ball for their goal was massive
-
Win today and we go second (albeit for an hour or two) Assuming the toon hold onto their lead

Where's THEVMAN? We need actual info!

So can Osvaldo play this system or does MP have a completely different role in mind for him? You can't escape the facts. MP knew what he would get from Osvaldo and chose to bring him here. Osvaldo knew what would be required of him and chose to come. I guess we have to trust that MP knows how to get what he wants out of Osvaldo (and personally I think MP has earned that trust and people shouldn't judge whether this transfer is a success or not until at least the end of the season) -
If we signed a new holding midfielder in January and that signing directly pushed big vic onto another level, but the signing himself failed to make an impact, would it be viewed as a good signing and worth the money? There are so many potential indirect benefits. If (stupid example) the signing of Tadanari Lee means we sell 200,000 shirts in Japan, but he never plays another game, would he have been a good signing? Some signings are clearly disasters, like Forren, but there are plenty of others that didn't perform on the pitch but could be argued to have gained the club indirect benefits. Charlie George? Delgado? Kerry Dixon (no, probably no benefit there!)
