I don't think it's in AA's interests (or timescale) to have some pie in the sky supporters group getting the media and MP's even more wound up, when there's no chance of them coming up with any serious money and it'll slow his plans to wind them up. He's just trying to kill it early
-
You have to admire the criminal mastermind which is Rosie. Faking her own death and framing poor Harry, before disappearing somewhere tropical to live our her days and leaving him to carry the can. Couldn't have happened at a worse time for him either, with Fabio about to walk. Wait.... maybe that's it.... the point of the whole dastardly scheme!!! Maybe she's somehow behind John Terry's outburst too!!! (Rosie: Hello Johnnie boy, remember me, yes? Rosie? We met at the dog and duck and then.... Well yes, I know you'd had a lot to drink. JT: Didn't we...? Yes.....Nooooooooooooooo. Rosie: Ok Johnnie, this is what you're going to do...) Maybe Rosie is going to come back from the death, claim that Harry locked her in the cellar 5 years ago. That's it! She's planning to step into the England job just in time for the Euros, to make sure we don't play like dogs again! Conspiracy theory you think! What better way to raise national pride at this time of hardship? A bulldog managing the national team to Euro success!! Arise Dame Rosie (47) Redknapp Services to UK Sport and ridding the world of Redknapp and JT in one swoop Genius (Ok, it's been a long night....zzzzzzz)

If it becomes an issue soon we can always claim that we'd have beaten them at home anyway, so we'd be in the 4 point category as well Cardiff and West Ham only have 2 votes anyway. There are 72 clubs in the FL
-
At 9.25am - The answer is still yes
-
Obviously the FL would prefer the competition go the distance without a club going bust, but I'd be surprised if they'd be 'played' over it. I know they would have let PFC sink at any point in Mahwhinneys (sp?) days, in fact he'd have helped give them a kicking, but have they really softened to that extent? I think they're just biding their time, letting the story play itself out. As Hutch suggested, they want to add the whole penalty at one time, and when they know all the facts. With MP's getting involved where they shouldn't be it's even more important the FL are sure of their ground. How can they know all the facts at the moment? The story is still mid-chapter (even if it is the final chapter!)
-
Agree There are so many possibilities (it's like Christmas!) 1) trading whilst insolvent 2) entering administration 3) additional penalty for not being the first time 4) exiting without a cva 5) defaulting on a previous cva 6) illegal payment from owner to employee What have I forgotten?
-
SSN have f*cked it up this morning Ticker saying January wages still not paid (fine) and that club have re-entered administration following wup issued in January. This as 7.40am Was so surprised I watched the whole ticker round again! But no other announcement and SSN making nothing of it so probably some junior at the back getting the facts wrong

It's more a case of will they ever be free of Chinney. If they form AFCP but then rent the ground from him are they actually much better off than before. I can't see how they would have enough money as a newly formed club to buy it off him (or Sacha's bit) so it's rent or nothing if they stay there. And that's before thinking about the maintenance costs. They need to walk away from it and start again (moneyfields anybody?).
-
I wouldn't be too hard on yourself
-
I think he'd need to put too much in without any certainty of getting enough out. But he hasn't shut up shop yet so he must have something in mind (unless of course the end is very close indeed)
-
I think he'll find it difficult to misinterpret your point there!
-
All possible but a couple of questions: 1) The CVA, controlled by Baker Tilley, can not to my knowledge be renegotiated (unless maybe the club go into administration again). Chinney will have to pay that and run the club to the summer with 1 parachute payment and his own cash. I still think he needs to put in £8-10m to do that. If he wants cold hard cash out, I'm not sure that's a good approach. 2) Why should the PL forward parachute money now? They don't give a toss about PFC ???
-
Why isn't TCWTB on that page. Isn't he important to them. A national icon? They're not embarrassed by him are they??? ssshhhhhhhh (of course not)

I think anything else from Ho is likely to be exceptionally short He's used his 3 free posts for today
-
Ho, just for a change, you've conveniently ignored my explaining that ML only put money up for buying the club, clearing the debt, infrastructure and transfer fees. The club has to cover all it's day to day expenses, which include player wages, within its revenue. So the answer should the unthinkable happen and the family now walk away is..............(drum roll) Nothing. The wages are covered and the club carries on. We might have to rein in transfer fees, but hey, we have an academy. You know what one of those is Ho? NC is also on record (when talking about the unthinkable situation of the family selling) as saying he has other contacts waiting in the wings, and you know Ho Ho Ho, I have a lot more faith in the stuff coming out of his mouth than Android's, Chinney's, Lumpitts, Storries,.... god this list could go on forever It is fair to say there is a risk with every owner, but lets just say that ours are AAA rated and yours, well...... yours aren't.
-
If Chinney keeps the ground, even taking on the club for £1 is a poor deal for a new owner. The liabilities are huge, both in current debt and immovable player contracts. The club is worth less than the value of the land that nottarf cr*p is built on. There really is no where to go from there, unless they think he's going to let the land go cheap because he cares
-
Validation orders can be done the same day..... if he's still seeking one, he ain't getting one.
-
That was my previous point about FPPT. If the FL had said no to Chinney or any of the others, PFC might have ceased to exist a while ago. One of the phew forums had posters begging for 'anyone' to take them over only last week. They want it both ways, but ultimately to be able to blame someone (anyone!) else for their problems
-
I would love it if a buyer came in 10 minutes before liquidation and the FL said 'no, you've not passed the fit and proper test'. The phew wouldn't know what to moan about first. The FL killing their club or the FL protecting the club. The FL are damned if they do and damned if they don't Some of the previous owners may not have passed a stricter FPTT, but then PFC might actually have gone bust sooner.
-
ML invested his money in buying the club, clearing the debt, transfer fees and infrastructure. NOT wages. The club has to be able to cover its week to week costs on its own for exactly this reason. This is why NC wouldn't break the wage structure for some potential signings after fees had been agreed. Exactly the same? I think not.
-
I think Ho puts too much faith in the councils policy of the land being retained for a sporting arena Councils come and go, and policies change. If there is no club I would expect the council to be falling over itself to get the land developed and create jobs. No council wants a waste land I also suspect that Chinney can be very patient
-
You know what the answer will be It's not our fault, it's the fault of the owners who didn't put in the money they promised. It could happen to anyone. You'd be just the same, bleet bleet It's always you though isn't it Ho. Ever wondered why that is? How the club with the bestest fans in land end up with the crapest owners?
-
Your accounting is going to need to be a little creative to make that one stack up
-
1. Who knows but they should be 2. Who knows but they shouldn't do 3. Who knows but they bloody ought to Hope that helps but I doubt it!
-
I guess the crucial difference in this case is that (at the moment) AA has no direct jurisdiction over PFC, they're effectively just a share holder(?), and Baker Tilley control the CVA. As we keep being told PFC aren't in admin, they just have a teensy weeny cash-flow problem, and are definitely not trading whilst insolvent, no sir, not us.. That could all change very quickly however
