Don't think his accountant worked for HSBC Think that was his Account Relationship Manager Correct me if I'm wrong

Mine wasn't a reference to 'why the f*** are they allowed on here' It was one of 'them being blind to any view that didn't ignore the elephant standing in the corner' and therefore banning us. I would miss the input of our fishy friends (and I use the term friends in the loosest possible form!) Although, as I'm flat out at the moment with lower back damage (pelvic ligaments my Chiro called it - whatever, it f***ing hurts), I could do with a little less input from them because I keep bursting out laughing and it's f***ing AGONY! (Thank god for my iphone - I'd be bored to death otherwise)

F***ing typical how they ban us from their forum instantly, yet we tolerate several of them on here (including one complete pr1ck) Says it all really

Ah, New Zealand That well known off shore tax haven - someone call the fuzz

No idea why he'd throw another £1.6m down the deep dark hole. Also no idea why they'd tell the kit man? Really hope it's not true

Here's a thought Trousers Maybe instead of relegated PL clubs automatically getting £16m, £16m, £8m and £8m over 4 years, maybe they should be optional, but if you chose to take them they come with a points penalty in the Championship. That way the relegated club is protected from going under but it doesn't undermine the integrity of the Championship competition. Let's say -1 point for every £2m taken, so take the whole £16m in year 1 means you start on -8 points. That would definitely even out what is an obviously unfair advantage? Thoughts?

Really is a case of who played least badly and made least mistakes I think probably Jos SDR did ok, although looked p1ssed that he'd been overlooked for the spanish lad. Not on the pitch long enough to get MotM though

You go for it!

When you look at the circumstances of our administration we were so F***ing unlucky. 1) We were only a few grand over our recently reduced overdraft limit. Most of our debt was secured (and brought about by) the stadium 2) The parachute payments went up about 300% the next season after we were relegated from the PL 3) Malwhinney was in charge and he was out to proove a point (I wish he was still there now) If anyone has a reason to feel resentful of PFC it's us, even without the rivalry! On the positive side, because we were such a decently structured business, we got ML - Thank you at least for that!

Probably time to change your twitter avatar to something a little more positive then eh Jason?

Alps. I'm sure you're a nice fella and all that but.... Do you ever see the positive side on anything. I only ask becasue I wouldn't even have thought of the negative you just found

Puncheon available. That creates a few more wing options then...
-
So they are trading insolvently now then? The HMRC money is overdue. So that is an insolvency event, and hence points deduction...?

A couple of things struck me about the PFC statement: 1) I thought 'blimey, this looks like honesty' - A very strange feeling when considering pompey 2) Did Chinney and AA really give Lumpitt permission to release that. I think Lumpitt may have grown a pair and decided if his house is on the line he'd like to have a little control over the direction this is going and not end up being the fall guy on his own

They were either earmarked for the CVA or Football Creditors. Either way they're spent already. Also, someone asked earlier why December and January would be poor cashflow months. It's because part payments to other clubs for player purchases will fall due at the end of the calendar year in some cases (obviously depends on what they negotiated at the time) Oh, and don't forget the cost of the massive christmas party!!! (and the presents for all those kids in hospital we delivered! - please Mr Judge don't wind us up, we're lovely people really!)
-
Only if they pay HMRC in full
-
@pn_neil_allen: RT @MrKimbell: @officialpompey I had my 8 yr old nephew on the phone in tears tonight. The people who have shafted #Pompey have no idea[/ Yep. That's the line Pompey will take in court again next month Don't wind us up. Soooo many people will be upset by it. We're essential to the community GROW SOME BALLS FFS

I think the funds were alleged to have come from MM's private account so there might not be any gain from that perspective However, the additional money was only given because HR kicked-up at the missing 5% (again allegedly), so if it wasn't given he might have been upset enough to leave, so that is a gain for PFC. But the simple fact is that they were both owner and employee of PFC, and if they are found guilty it is against the rules. Simple as that. Points deduction. It doesn't need to be an illegal payment to an agent to make it against the rules of the game. It's fraud.

I don't think the FL will be keen to prop PFC up. The PL did because they were worried about their all important brand, but FL are far harder. I can see that they might prefer them to go bust at the end of the season rather than now, but that really isn't close. Does anyone really think the FL or the PFA will fund PFC for 4 months? Or been seen to give all the parachute payment away when it was supposed to be ringfenced to pay the CVA or football creditors or whatever?

This is a brilliant post. Laughed my socks off

Not sure that Portsmouth is in the company title anymore is it? Isn't it PFC2010 Ltd or something It's not there today anyway

2 comments from the Few forum that I just can't believe. 'Clearly the 20p in the £1 agreement for the CVA was too generous' - FFS, you're blaming that for your problems! You haven't even started paying it yet! 'We need someone to invest in us - Anyone!' - Double FFS, haven't you learnt anything! I'm speechless...
