If you were Nigel Adkins right now, wouldn't you feel a bit ****ed off? This whole thing could implode and neither of them will appointed, and who would want to take the job knowing full well that they are 3rd choice? FWIW I would rather have NA than Howe every day of the week. No disrespect to EH as I think he's done a fantastic job at a very small club, but NA has twice the experience whilst remaining young enough to grow with the job.

KK is a top bloke too. I met him once as a kid when Man City were coming down to play us, he came out of his hotel with a huge bag of cones and balls and naturally we all asked for his autograph. He said 'wait a minute lads, let me just go and put this stuff in the car'. Nobody expected him to come back, but he did and spent a full 10 mins doing pics and signing autographs. Would love it, LOVE IT if this happens

correct me if I'm wrong, but there wasn't a press conference when we appointed Pardew. In fact I can't remember the last time a press conference was called to announce anything, so it tells us nothing that there isn't one planned
